5 weeks today
I’ve been MIA once again but last Thursday my seroma was drained and it was 40 cc’s of fluid and it came back but this time it was only about 20-25 cc’s (yay), I’m sooooo tired of getting drained, it’s frustrating. Today was my 4th time getting drained yet I was freaking out. I’m supposed to go back to work Tuesday, May 8th so I’m hoping with major compression, I won’t need to be drained again next Thursday or I’ll have to be out of work for another week.... I’m using an ab board, a faja, about 3 folded wash cloths and a book to compress nicely on the seroma area! I’m seriously ready to be done with this seroma.... I’m hoping to be no longer wearing compression at 8 weeks so I really need this seroma to go away lol
Otherwise, I feel great, I’m looking forward to easing back into workouts as of next week, maybe some light cardio and light weights....This time off from work has been nice but I’m ready to go back, my kids are driving me crazy and i feel like i have more responsibilities at home since I’m here all the time now...... I’m still taking bromelain & tumeric for swelling and I’m trying to stay on top of my water intake, I have been lacking lately... water is great for keeping swelling down.... Some days I take my compression off to shower and I still feel poofy but I have to remind myself that it’s just swelling and it will pass.... Also I can’t wait until I can get a tattoo to cover the stretch marks below my belly button, they’re getting uglier... I’m doing scar treatment now, silage gel and essential oils, I also massage my incision and my lipo areas on my sides to help break down the hard scar issue that has developed..... But that’s it for now. Good luck to those looking to have a tummy tuck in the near future! Don’t be afraid, I have no regrets! It’s the best decision I feel that I’ve made for myself! Let’s hope that I’ll be seroma and compression free when I update again!

Seroma Hell
This seroma will not let me be great... I’m starting to miss how flat my stomach looked in the beginning before this fluid build up above my belly button.... I’m in my ab board and binder 24/7, only feel comfortable stepping out of them to shower... I can’t wait until my 3 week post op visit tomorrow so I can get it drained again, it’s very tender in that area... As you guys in see in the photo and the photo in my last update, it is really protruding... Other than this, I’m doing well. Sometimes when I do too much, I get very sore and have to take it easy... I did get confirmation from my hematologist that my iron levels are severely low so I’m 2 days I’m scheduled to have an iron infusion. I’m very happy about that because I’ll be more energetic and I believe it will definitely benefit my healing and progress.
