Although I was relatively slim, two previous C-sections had resulted in significant overhang around my abdomen. My recovery was smooth and straightforward, and I have been extremely impressed with the healing of both my scar and belly button. The ongoing recovery has continued to be positive, with Mr Karoo providing clear guidance and support throughout.
For many women, particularly after childbirth, choosing to undergo surgery of this kind can feel like a difficult or even controversial decision. There can be a stigma around investing in yourself in this way. However, I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is considering taking this step.
