From my very first consultation with Mr Karoo, I was made to feel comfortable and at ease.
I talked about my issues and concerns, in regards to the surgery I was there to discuss.
Mr Karoo provided me with his honest opinion and also suggested other procedures which he felt would enhance my final results.
Once I had decided to go ahead with the surgery, the whole process, from my pre op assessments, to the day of my surgery, and post op appointments have been very professional and informative.
Any concerns iv had, have been quickly dealt with by Mr Karoo's secretary, Zoey.
She is a credit to The Cardiff Clinic.
I want to thank Mr Karoo and his team, for giving me back my self confidence.
I no longer look for a scarf when leaving the house, to hide a neck that had caused my so many self confidence issues for such a long time.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr Karoo, he really listened to me and answered all my questions both pre-op and post surgery. I felt the level of care I received from him was excellent.

I had a tummy tuck and liposuction. The operation went smoothly and I received great care from the nurses before and after the operation. The post op care from the Cardiff clinic was great and I could call Mr Karoo at any time for advice, he was very thorough at all my appointments and I felt in very safe hands. Richard Karoo did my rhinoplasty at st joseohs hospital in February. He and all the staff were great from consultation to after care. I was very nervous and he put me at ease and explained everything really well. He was very friendly and I felt like I could trust him. Receptionist was also very friendly and efficient. Hospital staff great aswell. I'm really happy with the result. I had minimal swelling and hardly any pain. I'm glad I chose Richard Karoo to do the surgery. I'm only 2 months post op and it's looking better everyday

For years I have struggled with back ache, indents in my shoulders and poor posture. There have been three failed breast reduction attempts over the years because it was never the right time, I eventually found the time to do something for me and it has been one of the best decision I have ever made.

Mr Karoo is undoubtedly a brilliant surgeon giving me a better outcome than I ever thought possible. He really listened and perfected new breasts that were the size, symmetry and projection that fitted my frame perfectly. The scaring is nowhere near as bad as I had prepared myself for and I would say it is minimal. Throughout the whole process I have felt in safe hands with Mr Karoo and his excellent team with the care I received being second to none. Now I am excited to start the next chapter in my life standing taller, lighter and more confident.

My advice to anyone thinking of having this surgery is stop thinking and just do it, it is remarkably life changing in so many ways!

My experience with Dr. Karoo was very professional and I was extremely happy to proceed with my procedure after having my consultation with him. Having decided to explore the possibility of surgery to improve the appearance of my crooked nose and sagging jowls, I visited Mr Karoo to discuss possibilities. From the moment I walked into his consulting room - I was impressed by his professionalism , honesty and kindness.
Mr Karoo provided me with all the necessary details, to make an informed decision on the surgery I intended to embark on.
He answered all my questions and that of my husband’s but placed no pressure on me either way regarding the surgery. Mr Karoo provided me with all the options available, the chances of a successful outcome and the risks involved with surgery.
I am pleased to relay that having gone ahead with both surgeries, I am overwhelmed with the results! My before and after care at the hospital was excellent - staff were caring and I was regularly monitored, which provided me with great comfort.
Staff advised me that Mr Karoo was available at all times, should there be any issues overnight - which was very reassuring.
The recovery period went well, albeit I found the bandaging of the face a little uncomfortable at times. Returning for regular check up’s with Mr Karoo was so satisfying, as we were both pleased with the results. I am delighted with the my new jawline, which is probably only noticeable to me and exactly what I was hoping for. My rhinoplasty has improved the appearance of my nose and I no longer rely on steroid sprays to breathe through it.
I would highly recommend speaking to Mr Karoo, if exploring the possibility of plastic surgery. Should I consider any further treatment, he would be my number one choice. Thank you :)
