I had Breast reduction surgery with Mr Karoo, It was a truly amazing experience from start to finish, It has changed my life! Mr Karoo is an exceptionally talented surgeon, his bedside manner and level of professionalism is absolutely outstanding. From my first consultation the procedure itself and all the aftercare that I have received I thank him and his whole team for everything that they have done for me. Mr Karoo explained the whole procedure in detail including the risks involved and made me feel at ease. As a rather large breasted women, I was a little apprehensive about the size Mr Karoo would be able to achieve but he was confident that he could reduce my breasts to the size that I wanted, and he delivered as promised! I would highly recommend Mr Karoo to anyone thinking about surgery, I wish I had had it done sooner. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart to you all.

Mr Karoo changed my life! He performed my rhinoplasty earlier this year and I am now 6 weeks post op but - and the results are already just amazing. From the first time I met Mr Karoo I knew he was the surgeon I wanted to use for my breast augmentation He was very reassuring and made me feel at ease during my consultation making the decision to choose Mr Karoo easy, not only did he make me feel comfortable before the procedure but also throughout the recovery period as it’s my first ever procedure I had some concerns in week 2 to which Mr Karoo asked me to come straight to the practice at 10pm (turns out it was nothing to be worried about) but Mr Karoo wanted me to get reassurance. This is a procedure that I have wanted done for many years due to my low confidence with my chest something that Mr Karoo has now given me back I can’t thank him enough.

First class treatment from start to finish. Mr Karoo immediately put me at ease during our initial consultation to improve my vision and appearance due to very droopy eyelids. He explained the options, the outcome and the possible side effects. Surgery was straightforward. I opted to have day surgery in Sancta Maria Hospital in. Swansea as it was near to my home. Communication was clear, concise and quick. On the day of surgery, Fabulous nursing team looked after me before, during and after the procedure (upper blephaplasty). I had a lovely private room with everything I needed. Mr Karoo reassured me and talked to me all through the painless surgery. It took just over an hour for both eyes. Back in my room, I was given a cup of tea, sandwiches and biscuits! Like a hotel. Lovely staff kept checking on me. Aftercare was explained. All necessary pain relief, antibiotics,etc provided with instructions. Mr Karoo checked I was ok and discharged me home. I had little or no pain at all. I only took two paracetamol on the first evening. I had bruising and swelling, which was to be expected. Follow up appointment was great. Lovely nurse removed my dressings and stitches. Mr Karoo was pleased with my progress. Another follow up 4 weeks later, swelling and bruising nearly gone. Fantastic results. My eyes are wider and brighter. Another few weeks and full results will be amazing. I am so pleased I had the surgery. And so pleased I had Mr Karoo to do it. He is so professional but also charming. He immediately made me feel comfortable and calm. Couldn't have asked for a better surgeon, better treatment and fantastic results. No more droopy lids making me look tired, and affecting my vision. I was recommended Mr Karoo and I honestly couldn’t be happier with my experience from start to finish. It was due to ruptures from implants 18 years previously, so was very concerned that there would be a lot of work to sort it out. From the very first consultation, he made me feel completely at ease. He was never pushy, took the time to explain everything clearly, and answered all of my questions thoroughly, which really put my mind at rest. What I appreciated most was how carefully he listened to what I wanted. I was very clear that I was aiming for a natural look, and he genuinely took that into consideration and agreed that would be exactly what he would do. I felt fully involved in every decision. On top of being an incredibly skilled surgeon, he’s also a really lovely guy with a great personality, which makes such a difference when you’re trusting someone with something so personal. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Karoo to anyone considering cosmetic or reconstructive surgery.

When I met Mr Karoo I was immediately put at ease. I explained what I was hoping for and he explained in detail how he could achieve this for me. My experience from start to finish was amazing. I had a difficult journey to get my end result due to the results of my mammogram. I needed to have extra tests to make sure that there was nothing wrong that would result me in not being able to have my surgery. This resulted in thorough support, jumping through hoops, dotting i’s and crossing t’s before I was able to have my surgery. I sent so many emails to Mr Karoo’s team with questions and queries and I always got a response. I feel so much happier to have jumped through hoops to get my surgery as it proved to me that Mr Karoo and his team went that extra mile before I was allowed to be able to go through with my surgery. From my admission for my surgery, before my surgery, after my surgery and the appointments that followed. I feel the care was amazing. I am 7 weeks post op and have healed exceptionally well.
