Short review:
If you’re considering a tummy tuck with Dr. Rahban…. do it! I am beyond thrilled with my results. Dr. Rahban truly cares for his patients and their outcomes. He is very knowledgeable, professional and kind. His staff is wonderful.
If you’re scared of the pain, I was never really in pain. If anything, it was more discomfort than pain.
I’m six weeks out and I look amazing. My results are better than I could have imagined!
Long review:
Before I saw Dr. Rahban, I met with two other surgeons who at the consultation said I could get a tummy tuck right away but said I would also need a bunch of liposuction. I went to Dr. Rahban and he said I should lose some weight and come back. He’s a straight shooter and he truly wants the best outcome for you. I am so glad I listened to his advice. I did lose the weight. I tightened up my diet and exercise and I ended up losing 12 pounds. I went back for a second consult and he said I was now ready to have a great tummy tuck result. I was nervous for the recovery but I was a good patient and followed his post operation directions precisely. I stayed on top of my pain medication and I really felt no pain. It was more just uncomfortable because your movement and positions are limited for about a week to two weeks. I’m thankful my husband was very available to help me because I needed him to do most things that first week. My brother and his wife also came to help with my 2 and 6 year old. I took 2 weeks off work, but I wish I took 3 weeks off. Luckily, I was able to work from home that 3rd week after my procedure.

Throughout this whole experience Dr. Rahban and his staff have been wonderful. They were available for any questions or concerns I had before and after my surgery.
I believe Dr. Rahban truly wants the best outcome for his patients. I felt that the whole way through this experience. He easily could have taken my money right away and done a bunch of Lipo with the tummy tuck but he didn’t because he cares about his patients and the outcome. He says he doesn’t want you to have “good results” he wants you to have “phenomenal results” and I do have phenomenal results! I can’t tell you how much better I feel.
Before going on this journey, I thought this is something I would never do and it seemed so extreme and superficial. But after my second child at 39 I had a lot of extra skin, a hernia and just always had a big bulge in my middle section. I was constantly asked if I was expecting and it was really getting me down.
I’d recommend listening to to his podcast before doing a consult with any plastic surgeon. It is very informative and actually saved me a lot of time and additional consults because I knew exactly what to look for.
Since my surgery, I look better than before I had kids. I feel good and I have a waist line again. I have a pep in my step and I don’t feel frumpy. It’s really changed my whole mood.
I’m happy I made the decision to work with Dr. Rahban because he is the best!
