Apparently, I can't add additional photos without posting a comment so I'll blather on about stuff until I get the required 200 characters. So how's everyone doing out there? I think the hardest thing about this is not being able to exercise or lift stuff. I mean, after the first week I was ready to get back to normal. I did overdue it one day and was really tired afterwards, but not in pain or anything.

Almost 5 wks now

I continue to love my new body. I'm still a little swollen. I see Dr. Dry on Thursday and hope he will give me the go ahead to get my lymphatic massage. I've lost 3" off my waist so far. I love being able to look down and see my toes. Also I can now fit into some of the dresses I haven't been able to fit for years (yes, I should have donated them years ago but they are in my 'I have a dream" wardrobe). I tried on a pair of size 8 jeans the other day and they actually fit. Not all brands fit but I was delighted that I could pull them up and not have them stop at the abdomen, nonetheless.

I added a couple more pictures in my temporary binder while I wash my compression garment which I love. I feel so pulled together in it because it smooths out all the bulges.

It was 2 weeks yesterday that I had my surgery. I am chomping at the bit to exercise and get back to my routine. Other than a few twinges from the liposuction I have zero pain and am walking upright now. I can't believe how easy my recovery has been. At my latest appointment he said he had taken 7 lbs of fat and skin and was surprised I had lost weight as most patients gain weight after surgery because of swelling. I stuck to a strictly liquid protein diet for the first few days and I wonder if that's why I lost some weight. Anyway, since then I'm eating regularly although perhaps not as much because I'm not as hungry or active, and lost an additional 2 lbs. I hope it stays off! I'll update again in a week or so.

They gave me something like that I think but mostly my lack of pain on my lower abdomen was because I had had a hysterectomy years ago and it had left me numb down there. But all I had this go around was soreness from the liposuction. I'm still a little sore on my sides at 5 wks

Thanks! I feel back to normal but still haven't had the go ahead to resume my regular activities
