Amazing Life Changing Experience (Fleur De Lis - Abdominoplasty)

Ordinarily, I am not a person to really leave reviews but were credit is due I felt like I had to oblige and at least enlighten others to my truly positive experience.
The work that Mr Hurren has performed has been absolutely life changing.
When they say a person is a master of their craft, Mr Hurren has certainly worked his magic on me. A true miracle worker.
This had been a decision I had been deliberating for some time following weight loss surgery a few years ago and the constant moving of the goal posts by the NHS.
I made the, "ohh so difficult" decision to seek Mr Hurren's advice regarding an Abdominoplasty (Fleur de lis) in order to remove a lot of excess skin around the stomach region and get an idea of what options I had available to me, what the surgery would entail ect.
From the outset, as I am sure with most people, I found myself trawling the internet becoming an expert in all things Google, plastic surgery related.
Upon my initial consultation I realised that not everything is as clear cut and that what I actually required was quite a bit more complex than a lot of routine straight forward surgery as described by Google searches.
Mr Hurren, being the professional that he is, could not have made me feel more at home, explaining the very ins and outs of what would be required to perform what needed to be done, in order to remove all the excess skin I had accumulated over the years.
I can't tell you, how much this alleviated a lot of the anxiety I had.
When they say a person felt like they'd been like "Atlas" and carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders, this was very much how I felt at the start but following my speaking with Mr Hurren it was like I'd finally made my way through a never ending fog.
Decision made, I opted to go ahead with the surgery.
Paperwork signed and the ball started rolling.
I had a few pre operative assessments, blood tests etc to determine blood type, any underlying/hidden problems that could hamper my operation/recovery.
All results appeared clear and the date was given for surgery to commence.
This came around 4 weeks later.
Checked into Spire Hospital Havant, shown to my room and made ready for surgery.
As it was such a large operation (5 hours) due to the amount of excess skin that needed removing, my recovery took a little longer than a lot of people but I was out of hospital following the second day, managing to walk out under my own steam.
A testament to the expert work performed by Mr Hurren and his team.
Just short of 6 weeks post operation now.
I've just had my final consultation and I am free of all the compression binder, as well as the Deep Vein Thrombosis stockings and feel like a completely new person.
The recovery is by no means near complete and as I'm sure most will know with most surgeries this can take a little time (I've had a fair few surgeries over the years, non weight related) but the transformation, even now has truly been life changing.
I genuinely cannot recommend Mr Hurren and his team highly enough.
He has been so thorough in looking after my recovery from regular phone calls to see how things have been, to organising medication/antibiotics for me to collect from a pharmacy local to where I was residing/recovering (over 300 miles away).
Professionalism knows no bounds.
