I felt I just needed more rest. So I took it easy today.
I walked 5000 steps yesterday but only 2000 steps today. Walking hunched but trying to engage my glutes more and correct my posture My pain is well controlled- only taking the narcotic pain med once a day. Mostly back and shoulder pain. My entire abdomen is just numb and even my incision site pain is mild and sporadic.
Planning for my 3 drains to be removed on post op day 7 or 8- excited for that.
I have gained a little weight- water weight obviously because I still have little appetite.

Hello. I am 43 female. 166 lbs 5'8".
I have had two c-sections and just wanted to look tighter and feel more comfortable in a bathing suit and jeans. When I was 20lbs lighter and on a strict keto diet; I still didn't like my stomach or flanks.
So I decided to stop the strict dieting - let my body be at the weight it wants to be at and have cosmetic surgery.
Today is post op day 3 - My pain is well controlled with the pain management plan I am on which does not include heavy narcotics. I am taking neurontjn, celebrex and tramadol. I had a long acting numbing medicine injected and my core is still numb. I am getting in and out of bed by myself.
