Wonderful Treatment from Him and His Entire Staff!

WORTH IT
Today I am 13 days post surgery and I’m happy to report I’m feeling 80% back to normal! I have had some challenges like any of us can when having this type of major surgery. I want to share because I find so many posts here are so negative towards Dr Mendieta and his staff!! I know before surgery they scared me and made me reconsider…
On September 15th I had a TT and lipo with fat transfer to buttocks. My hemoglobin the day of surgery was 12.6. I did sign up in case they needed blood transfusion but they decided I did not need it. (I was not charged) Unlike most dolls here I am 55 years young, which may be the reason for my challenges. My hemo continued to take a down fall days after leaving me with very little energy and even felt depressed. Upon my 2nd post op appointment nurse noticed I had redness and warmth on both hips…. Immediately the nursing team began me on IV antibiotics for the next 6 days, monitoring me daily! I have to say I have visited 4Beauty /Mendieta office at least 8-9 times since this process began and every single staff member from Dr, nurses, receptionists, surgery team has been absolutely wonderful! They have been proactive in there treatment and very
thorough!! Everyone greets you with a smile, asking how your feeling today?, do you need anything? I have absolutely NOTHING negative to say about any of them! My hemo dropped to 8.2 where I honestly felt I could not walk more than 4 steps without stopping. The pain has been super manageable for me between Exparel and Percocet (early days) but this exhaustion and lack of energy has been horrible for me! I’m happy to report today my hemo has gone to 11.4 after eating a lot of red meat, protein shakes, eggs, lentils and anything that my wonderful hubby brought me and in addition to continuing my Rx Iron and vitamins. I’m still very swollen and I’m hoping soon to share some pictures with all of you!
If you are considering surgery with Dr Mendieta I have absolutely nothing negative to say and in fact and I am so thankful to him and his entire team for the level of support!
