My Tummy Tuck Experience

WORTH IT
I had a very positive experience with dr Harris and his team. From the day one to the day of surgery and after care was all positive. His team of nurses are wonderful and caring. I had a tummy tuck and jaw contouring done by dr Harris. He listened to what I wanted and was very kind and caring. I recommend dr Harris for anyone who is considering work done. His prices are reasonable and fair. Altrhough it has only been four days after my surgery I feel as though I am going to be very happy with the end result of my tummy tuck.

Two and three weeks post tummy tuck
mandyjaMarch 22, 2019
Here is what I look like in the same bikini before the surgery and two weeks and three weeks post operation. After three weeks I went to see Dr Harris and it appears I have some fluid built up in my tummy. He used a needle and syringe to remove the fluid and it did not hurt at all. Given that area is completely numb, I felt no pain. Dr Harris is very caring and kind.

Six weeks post op

So I’m feeling really good. At week four I started walking straight and no longer haunched over. I had to go back and have more fluid taken out of my tummy at week four. I think I may be ok with the fluid built up aka seroma. Two extractions and 125 cc of fluid. I have more energy and able to take on more chores. Have been doing more around the house and will be back at work next week. I should mention I took 6 weeks off from work to give my body time to heal. I have no regrets in that regard. Best decision I made...of course after having a tummy tuck. I’m an soooo happy with the results and I have been walking an hour or so a day after weeek 2. I am going to get back to the gym and start shaping my new body. Extremely thrilled with my decision to finally go ahead with this procedure after contemplating it for over 20 years. Better late than never.

You do? Did you have a crease from your belly button down to your incision? I am really swollen too and had a TT by Dr. Harris Nov 17 but I'm only 13 days PO.

Hi. Yes I do have a crease from belly button down to incision! But it is slowly smoothing out. I wonder if maybe its how he twcks down the skin for closure? The center of the flap closure is where the most tension can be and they say if there is too much tension there it can cause poor circulation and tissue death during healing. I must assume its how he prevents that maybe, if its a common thing among his patients. You can view my profile by clicking on my name and I have lots of pics up. Can you post some of yours? I will message you direct on here :)
