Wonder Experience!!

I am 48 years old, 3 adult children and 1 grandchild. My first child I had via c-section over 30 years ago, that pain during recovery was awful .I had a tummy tuck a little over 5 weeks ago. Dr. Grasee and her staff are all great !! Before I made my decision final, I called the office sooooo many times asking questions ( sometimes the same questions) I didn’t feel judged. I was so nervous and worried about how the recovery would be. I’ve watched countless videos over the years but still knew that I would have to go through it to fully understand just how the surgery would be. I expected the worst as it related to pain. I can honestly say I freaked myself out. Yes there was some pain, more discomfort but totally bearable. I got the Exparel injection which I believe helped. I worked with my PCP before having the surgery. I wanted to confirm I was healthy enough to minimize any complications. I also would take it as a sign not to get the surgery done if my labs were not good. All of my labs were normal, but she suggested I take Iron, D3, B12 along with my multivitamins.
My husband took excellent care of me during my recovery. He took a week off and worked from home a few days the next couple of weeks. I have a recliner that I slept in which helped me tremendously. I love my results already and as mentioned earlier am only 5 weeks post op. I can say that if I had to do this over again I would and would choose Dr. Grasee again!!
