So far I feel great. I am wearing my binder day and night to alleviate any swelling. I’m
Very happy with my results and belly button. I just started using silicone strips on my scar. I haven’t had any allergic reaction to it, so I’ll continue using them and hopefully will see some improvement with my scar.

Tummy Tuck
I’ve read hundreds of great reviews about Dr. Reish and his team being wonderful, accommodating, and accessible. All of them are 100% true and important, but the most important things to me were his surgical skills and my end results. I previously had three breast augmentations and lipo. Three years ago I did my last breast revision and lipo and chose the surgeon because he had such a nice bedside manner and operated on some of the Real Housewives, embarrassing to admit, but true. Unfortunately I was left with uneven lipo and unhappy with my breasts. So I started researching and reading thousands of real self reviews and found Dr. Reish. I sent an email to him and he responded that night. I scheduled a virtual consultation and then scheduled surgery after. So the plan was for a breast lift and tummy tuck with lipo to flanks, but Dr. Reish was a little hesitant about what type of lift I’d have because I didn’t have a lot of skin to work with and we were on a virtual consultation so it made it more difficult to decide. For reference I’m 5’5” and 130lbs. I had three children vaginally and no stretch marks, so making the decision to have a tummy tuck with a huge scar was difficult. My option would be not to do it, have stretched muscles, and bad lipo and just stay as fit as possible or I could have the tummy tuck with a flat stomach and scar and a fake belly button. Thank god I scheduled my surgery for a month out, because the amount of doubt and mom guilt and hesitation I had was causing so much anxiety and I probably couldn’t handle that for much longer. Cut to the morning of surgery, I arrived at Dr. Reish’s surgery center and had to go in alone due to Covid. I did pre op paperwork and Dr. Reish came in to mark me up and discuss everything we would be doing. I was shocked and quite honestly a little doubtful when he showed me how low my incision would be and that I would not need a small vertical scar even with the little skin he had to work with. Next we discussed my breast lift, he said he wouldn’t be happy with my end results doing a lift because he would need all the skin I had to pull my stomach down. He felt it would be better if I would heal first from my tummy tuck and then come back to do my breast lift. Cost was not a factor and he did not stand to make more money by me coming back. I already paid in full and Dr. Reish scheduled surgery time to do it, so I almost felt guilty not going through with at least new implants. He was so professional and caring and said absolutely do not feel bad about this, your happiness and having the best results are most important. I felt so relieved to know that I was having major surgery done by someone who cared more about my results than making money. I had surgery on a Thursday and was refunded my money for the breast lift on Monday.
I went into the surgery room and they laid me under a warm blanket of sort. The anesthesiologist, Christina, is amazing and so comforting. She put the IV in my arm which I was so relieved by. I dread having an IV in my hand where there’s no fat and very painful. We chatted and then I woke up in recovery. After I was fully awake and dressed they wheeled me out to my husband. I had a tummy tuck and lipo on my flanks. He was also very nice and did a little lipo on my hips and bra area. I had two drains in that were fine and a binder on. I paid to have exparel and so glad I did. I almost felt weird that I wasn’t in more pain. I slept a lot and ate lightly the first week, taking pain pills as needed. I slept in my bed with pillows under my legs and three behind my head in a beach chair position. I’m a side sleeper so this was more annoying than anything else. My first post op was exactly a week later. They removed only one drain which was painless and Dr. Reish came to check on me. I was amazed when I saw how short and low my incision was. I have to go back in five days to have the second drain removed. I know every surgeon has their own technique and recovery plan and so many reviews I read said conflicting things, so I literally just followed Dr. Reish’s instructions religiously and anticipate great results and quick healing. I’d like to point out that every question I had, no matter the time I text him, Dr. Reish responded in addition to him texting multiple times to check on me. He is everything the reviews said and more. I’m looking forward to my breast lift next!
