Dr. Reza is The BEST and So is The Grace Clinic!

Having two children, I have dreamed of having a tummy tuck (TT) for YEARS! I've always hated looking a few months pregnant and having excess skin drooping down. I hated shopping for clothes and not feeling confident in anything I wore.

Over the years, I went to see three other Plastic Surgeons about having the procedure done and finally this time, I decided to do it. The Grace Clinic and Dr. Reza are highly rated and when I met Dr. Reza, I knew that he would be the one to do it. He explained everything clearly and set my expectations. He recommends his TT patients also do Emsculpt (equivalent to 20,000 sit-ups or squats) after the tummy tuck to further enhance the results. It is offered at a reduced price with the surgery so I signed up. In addition, I did ask for liposuction for my upper inner thighs (due largely to having a desk job for years), which he said could be done at the same time as the TT.

The day of surgery I had great care from the nursing staff, anaesthetist, and of course, Dr. Reza. All of them were wonderful and caring. When I woke up, the first thing the nurse said is, "Everything went great! You're going to love the results!"

I was expecting recovery to be painful for the first few days. I did need help getting up but as far as pain, there really wasn't much at all. I didn't even need ANY painkillers, not even Extra Strength Tylenol . The nurse advised me to take the Tylenol anyway in the event I still had anaesthetic in my system that may wear off which may cause any pain to be harder to get under control.

Yesterday I went for my first post-op appointment (six days post-op). I was able to have one drain removed. I went to the appointment with sink-washed hair, make-up, and walking like nothing had happened. Karen, the nurse, was so surprised at how well I was recovering, as was I! When Dr. Reza came in to see how I was doing, I thanked him for the great work he'd done. He was humble and said I was "too kind" and told me I was a good healer. :). He told me it would take 2-3 months for the swelling to go down and to see the best results.

My second follow-up is in three more days where I will have my second drain removed. I'm looking forward to that as the stitches feel a bit itchy! It will be nice to be able to have a shower!

When I'm able to, I will post some pictures of my results! I'm excited to share them here as I have been so inspired over the years by the many experiences people have shared of their plastic surgery journeys. I am grateful for those who have taken the time to share their experiences here. Thank you!
