I'm a mother of 4, and after having 4 really big babies, my core was gone.I was left with severe back pain, a bulging tummy, the famous "mommy apron", hernia, and diastasis recti. I tried PT but it didn't help. After consulting with several specialists and therapist, my only option for relief was a tummy tuck. A friend introduced me to Dr. Moister and I scheduled my surgery 2 weeks after my consult. Dr. Moister explained my options and I was able to leave his office with all my questions and concerns addressed. We chose his outpatient facility for the surgery. It was all such a good experience. I woke up in hardly any pain at all, and while the first 2 days had the most pain, by day 4 I was only using tylenol and advil for the soreness. I am now 11 days post op and I am so incredibly impressed with how well my body is healing and how amazing my body looks. The incision looks smooth and my belly button looks normal-which I was a little nervous about, but i'm happy with it! What's even better, despite being in bed a lot or hunching over, I have had NO back pain! Dr. Moister was available for any concerns I had during my recovery. Regarding bedside manner, Dr. Moister is compassionate and makes sure you feel comfortable. His staff is kind and I really felt like I had an entire team supporting and helping me, instead of just being a patient left with an after hours number. I am planning a breast reduction next and will be using his outpatient facility again.

Week 5. I’m still having some swelling but the skin tightness isn’t as bad so I’m able to mostly stand up straight now. I’m much more active this week but have moments of soreness and fatigue.

You look good! I am 4 weeks on the 10th. Only time Ian not swollen is in the morning when I wake up. The mons area is very swollen fearful it won’t calm down. I guess we gotta trust the process. Please continue to post your progress. I hate mine so I won’t share for now.

That's my fear, it's so big! I got cleared to stop wearing my binder, but I wear it when I have to sit for long periods and when I sleep. I read that compression panties help smooth it out, so I've ordered some on amazon. The say the mons pubis is the last to go down. fingers cross or i'm going to be back in for lipo haha

How are things now? I am considering a tummy tuck here in Greenville. I am about the same shape you were.
