Dr. Maier and his staff are very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Dr. Maier personally called to check on me post-op. Pain was minimal and easily controlled. I love the results! I feel much more connected to my core. I did rent a lift chair and used a walker for the first week which helped with getting up for the bathroom. Also, preparing about a week of meals ahead of time is a good idea.
