Mr Karoo Has Changed my Life
WORTH IT
I first met Mr Karoo before lockdown where I had been looking to get breast implants and an uplift. Mr karoo was amazing from start to end and I was extremely happy with the results so when I decided I wanted a tummy tuck it was a no brainer that I return to see Mr Karoo.
I had my initial consultation regarding my tummy tuck before Christmas and arranged a date for Feb 7th to go ahead.
I was extremely anxious about this thinking about the down time, recovery and pain however Mr karoo and his team where there all the way to reassure me and answer all the questions I had.
I had my surgery in St Joseph's hospital and cannot fault anyone or anything. My surgery went ahead and I was home the next day in minimal pain.
I had prepared myself for a painful recovery, with 3 weeks off work but the only thing i would say I did suffer with was swelling!
I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair and the only way I could describe the feeling was as if I was 9 months pregnant and ready to pop!
After a week I was able to go out but still walked with a slight hunch and got out of breath quickly.
Lots of rest and keeping hydrated I was able to go out as normal by day 10. 2 weeks later I was back driving myself around but I took the extra week off work anyway! (Great to have the time off!)
I'm now week 5 and forget iv even had surgery at times! Obviously I'm still careful, not gone back to the gym as yet and my body does let me know if iv done too much walking In the evening!
I am so so happy with my result as it stands and iv still got swelling to go down!! I cannot wait for the summer to be able to finally feel confident in summer clothes, bikinis etc.
