One month post

So it’s been a month! I think I’m healing great. I can stand straight and my tt scar is full I closed. I’m still very swollen and tight. The nerve repair makes you feel so tight that you think you can’t stand straight but it’s just how it feels. I have a lot of hyperpigmentation in the tt scar, and all of the scars from the drain and lipo holes so I’ll start the scar treatment on Saturday. My hips and butt is rounder but I think that’s just from the tt. I think I’ve lost the fat from the transfer because the requirements for keeping the fact is just too unrealistic for me. I also wouldn’t recommend lipo of the upper thighs. I feel a rippling best the skin. Massaging tends to lessen it but I’ve heard the best thing for thighs is a lift. I had very slight lipo there but based on what’s happening now I wouldn’t go further. I still feel sore and a bit uncomfortable most of the time but you get used to it. This lack of belly and back fat makes any discomfort worthwhile:)

Hi there! Wow already a month for you?! That’s crazy. I just had my surgery this last Saturday so I am 6 days post op now. (Lipo 360, small bl, inner thigh lipo and lift ) I was going to ask you exactly what you mentioned, HOW are you able to sleep on your tummy or avoid being on your butt, and if you think it’s affecting your results? I for the life of me can’t find a good position to sit or lay without it hitting affected bbl areas. I am using the boppy pillow but still feel there is a lot of pressure on my butt and hips when using it.
Yay! You're on the road to healing. I hate/hated sleeping on my back but because of the tummy tuck I couldn't even imagine sleeping on my stomach so it became horribly natural. I'm only now more comfortable with rolling on my side and it feels very tight. As for not being in my butt: god bless those who can but I cannot. I think sitting down and not laying properly on my butt may have affected my results but also I didn't have a lot of fat injected. I think I'm rounder and fuller but that could also be a result of the smaller tummy. I have less swelling now so it's smaller and I still have dimpling but I think it's cuter.
You look great, awesome. One month, I hope you feel like it flew by. Im so worried about the return to work 2 weeks after my surgery in march. Hope you didn't lose all the fat from the transfer, but I've read how you're supposed to keep off the areas and that's just really seems unrealistic. Happy healing and congrats you're looking good ;)
Thank you and don't worry. You'll be fine :)
I guess I'm going to have to do some research! I didn't know that there are requirements for keeping the fat from a transfer! Thanks for the information. You are looking great!!
Thank you and yes there are. You can't sit or lie normally for two months so it's challenging:(
Did you bring any special BBL pillow? It's pretty unlikely that I can keep off my butt for 2 months either! Especially because I'd feel stupid bringing a special pillow to sit on everywhere I go! :) Hopefully I will be able to retain a little of it though! I'm wanting natural looking results, but I'd like to see at least a little increase to my flat butt! lol
You look fabulous! Thank you for sharing your journey with us and giving so many helpful tips!

Merry Christmas

Friday will be two weeks but I decided to post today because i took my drain out (per doctors order) and it’s Christmas. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you and yours!
Taking the drain out was super gross. I didn’t expect the tug midway out and I especially didn’t expect the rainfall of fluid that would pour down my leg. Ewww! Cheers to never ever having to do that again.
I take the tape off my tt incision on Friday. I’m still very swollen though sometimes is better than others in the run of a day. Now that my butt is no longer so swollen I can see that’s it’s not big. I got the roundness in my hips I was hoping for and some of the dimpling is not as noticeable. It looks nicer in thongs and boy shorts but it is still swollen so we’ll see in the coming weeks. I hope the fat that is left survives because there’s really nothing else to lose.
I’ve attached some pictures. I have a hard lump between my navel and vagina that the doc said is tt swelling. Hopefully that will dissolve soon. My naval is covered in scab but it’s still cute. I’m very happy about the contouring and that my back fat is all gone. I have to book some massages because I feel lumpy but in the meantime I will start massaging myself. All in all this is coming together nicely. I’ve tried on shirts and jackets that I could not fit previously because of my stomach and back fat and they fit wonderfully. I can’t believe I have a flat stomach and I’m healing beautifully just in time for the new year.

Thank you
beautiful results
Thank you
Congratulations you look amazing. Thank you so much for sharing your journey. Happy New Year and cheers to a happy, healthy year in an awesome looking body. I can't wait to be where you are on the recovery side❤
Thank you so much for your kind words. I checked out your real self profile and congratulations on your upcoming procedure. I am sad that your journey took so long but sometimes as women, we put ourselves last. The important thing is finally prioritizing yourself no matter how long it takes. By the way, I love your existing navel. It is shaped like a star and I think that's beautiful. Still, I understand your desire for a correction. Like most of us, you will be awesome after your surgery and all of those old insecurities will fade away. If it wasn't for my before pics I wouldn't even remember the massive boobs I had reduced a year ago and I'm beginning to forget about the insecurity tied to my old belly. Please know that perfection does not exist and you'll likely find a new idea of perfection. For instance, I thought I couldn't wait to begin treating my tt scar (and I still will in a few weeks) but now I think it's kind of sexy. It reminds me of my bravery and that I finally did something purely for me. Congratulations again. I can't wait to see your after pics and read all about how wonderful you feel in your tightened skin. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or just need reassurance. The healing process can be frustrating but it goes by fast.
Thank you, you are such a sweetheart. You've got the best attitude/outlook, find the positive in everything❤. That will certainly help with your healing, thank you again. 2020 is here
Love what u said about your TT scar...I've never treated mine...it never bothered me and it still doesn't
Thank you and your confidence is wonderful. I'll probably try some treatments but I know it will lighten over time anyway. I'm just so happy to be done with the big belly and loose skin that a hyperpigmented scar is the least of my worries. For the first time in years I open my new year with a fit stomach. Hallelujah!
Hi there! How is your recovery at home going? I am 2 days before leaving to Tijuana now, I wanted to ask you if there are any items you took with you, or wish you would have taken with you for after care or just in general?
Yay you're two days away! I'm excited for you! I'm doing great and will post an update in the next day or so. I tried to post one today but for some reason the app kept messing up. Now what to take with you: cash for tips and let your bank know that you are traveling. I ran into issues with this and my bank locked my card in a machine and shut down my account until I came home. I was so sad that I could not tip the wonderful folks at the recovery house that I cried. Take one credit card for emergencies but leave all else at home. Two tank tops. The recovery house will wash your things so you'll only need two. No need for panties for obvious reasons. Two pair of warm socks. You will not feel like (or be able to) constantly bend down to put on slippers. Your night gown should be warm and cozy and easy to open and close. You want maximum comfort. One warm and cozy sweat shirt. You want the zipper kind as pulling things over your head will be challenging. This can be the same sweatshirt you fly each way with. Loose sweatpants to fly home in. I wish I'd brought good lotion. My skin was so dry because of the surgery and faja that I'm still over moisturizing to catch up. You will not need extra clothes because you will be in your gown/robe all day everyday. The only clothes you'll need is what you fly in and out in unless you'll be there for a day or so before surgery. Before you fly home call your airline and order a wheelchair as you do not want to have to walk to and from your gate. You will get tired fast Plus, you'll get so many extra perks from the airline so why not. Trust me, order the wheelchair even if you end up not using it. It's free anyway. I think that's it but if you get a chance look through my previous posts because I posted about what to bring while I was still at the recovery house. I can't wait to hear all about your recovery. Remember, you will have that woe is me day so try not to let it get you down. You will be fine and everyday will feel 1000% better than the day before. Congratulations!
