Having Cosmetic Surgery with a Disability - a Well Deserved 5* Rating.
WORTH IT
I am a young Hampshire wheelchair user who, after very significant weight loss, has been left with a very loose and pouchy stomach, made worse by the fact that I am constantly seated.
Not anymore! Thanks to Mr Hurren, I now have a stomach that I am now proud to show off to the world and my confidence and self esteem has soared to stratospheric levels. Gone is the pouch and unsightly slab of loose skin; instead, I now have a smooth and sculpted hourglass abdomen that ends with a very neat and unobtrusive scar. Even the dreaded tummy tuck belly button is simply a slightly redder version of my old one. I am currently only 3 months post op, so no doubt this will reduce over time.
Mr Hurren was keen to stress that he had no wish to deny me surgery due to my disability. My medical team were consulted at the outset to ensure they were happy, medically, for me to undergo the operation and throughout the entire process, Mr Hurren kept me notified and aware of the measures that he would put in place to counteract possible side affects due to my paralysis.
I would urge anybody considering cosmetic surgery, who happens to have a disability, to look no further than Mr Hurren; his approach to your procedure and care (both pre and post op) is beyond exemplary and he ensures that your treatment journey is carefully tailored to take your disability into consideration. His careful approach to treatment provides an iron clad sense of security and I have always felt completely comfortable under his watch, both as a cosmetic surgery patient and patient with a disability.
