Happy with excellent care & tummy tuck for large diastasis recti

I first met Dr. Glatt in 2011, when I went for a consultation to learn more about diastasis recti repair. After having my second child, I was left with a large diastasis recti. I recall how kind and patient he was during the visit. I did not book the abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) at that time because I decided to have another child. I returned to Dr. Glatt’s office in 2018 after my 3rd child was 4 years old. After having a c-section, the diastasis had become even larger. I was ready to move forward. I decided I would lose some weight before booking the surgery. Then when I was ready, the Covid pandemic began. I put this plan on a long hold. Then in 2021, the long awaited surgery was booked. I had waited 10 years for this day! I was tired of carrying around the big boulder on my waistline. I was tired of being mistaken for being pregnant, for wearing maternity clothes, for being uncomfortable in my own skin.
Dr. Glatt and his team made the entire process from start to finish smooth and seamless. Recovery was a bit more intense than I anticipated but Dr. Glatt, his nurse and staff were very empathetic and compassionate. As a nurse practitioner, I understand the importance of providing a high level of care. I feel I received excellent care from surgery through recovery. And I could not be happier with the results! I can’t thank him enough! I finally feel like my old self again. I highly recommend Dr. Glatt!
