Tummy Tuck in 3 Days!!!

So I've been on RealSelf since 2013. I am extremely picky. But when I saw Dr. Young's boob jobs I fell in love. They are work of arts. I thought about getting a Mommy Makeover but no loan company would give me no more than $6,200. So the surgical coordinator Holley is like so awesome! She adviced me to get the Tummy Tuck with the tightening of the muscles instead. So I went with it. They were having a promotion for New Years so I couldnt say no! Pre op was smooth sailing. The nurse answered all my questions. And took her time with me. The facility is also very beautiful and the staff is nice. I think it was a good decision choosing Dr. Young. Took all these years to finally decide on the right surgeon. I trust him completely. Cant wait for my surgery in 3 days!!!

I got extended tummy tuck with liposuction of the flanks, breast lift and a surgical wire release of the back folds. In three months I will have breast implants put in. I didnt realize I needed a breast lift but he told me if I dont, I will have larger saggy breasts and that is definitely not a look I want to have haha. I am so happy I did it as now that I see them lifted, now I realize they truly needed a lift. I posted some before and after photos on my profile reviews (not sure if you can see it by clicking on my name?) Definitely the best decision I have ever made for myself. I am starting to feel more like my old self and so confident, I am so happy, swollen and all haha. I was so scared and nervous, but they gave me even a numbing shot before they put my IV in (I had IV in before for separate non plastic surgeries and didn't think it was a big deal). I thought the numbing shot for the IV was over the top but I happily took it haha. Next thing you know, they prepped me with the pivodine iodine antiseptic solution, gave me a relaxation shot and I was out! And then I woke up! You will do fantastic!:):):)

Girl, you went all out. Like they say, "go big or go home" lol. They injected lidocaine in the vein before the IV as well. Were ur hands tingly for days? The nurse ended up poking me twice and injecting lidocaine twice. But I didnt rly care. The tingly sensation feels weird though lol. Today is day 4 post op and it's not that bad. I get to be lazy for once lol.

I have to add that my hands were tingly for 2 days. I thought it was a side effect of general anesthesia but maybe even lidocaine?

My hands were tingly too. It was probably from the lidocaine. How r you feeling?

Dr.Young is a great doctor and so is his staff. I was nervous when I got there but while talking to the doctor and the nurses I knew I was in good hands. When I woke up after the surgery I was in a bit of pain. Cried bc I had cotton mouth and my throat was hurting. But they told me that before the surgery that, that would happen. So I knew it wasn't anything serious. Slept mostly everyday. The father of my kids barely helped me. So that was tough. I have a 3 and a 2 year old autistic baby boy. He couldn't understand why I couldn't pick him up but he got used to it. Walked a bit hunched back but I'm walking straighter now. Got to cook yesterday. Cleaned up a bit with the help of my 3 year old. And on day 3 I woke up feeling itchy and tingly around my belly. The drains are annoying. Cant wait to get then removed on February 3rd!

Hang in there Sexy Mama! My Belly started to itch too. Biooil and moisturizing creams that helped although I was told not to apply it to the incisions so we tried avoiding that, and just applying on "regular skin". I felt like it helped. Drains are really annoying, my toddler even ripped most of the stiches out when he used my drains tubes as an anchor several times :O. But they do work great, as annoying as they were I cannot image if I didn't have them. I feel like I would have been severely bloated. Only a few more days and they will be out! Mine got taken out 2 days ago, it doesn't hurt! It feels weird but it doesn't hurt. It feels weird because you feel them pulling this long tube (there is at least 12 inches of tube on each drain that is inside of you), so that feels weird but not painful. It lasts maybe 2 seconds. Very relieving. I will post some photos hppefully tomorrow (my kiddies have been sick so didn't have a chance to yet), but I took photos of drain holes hours after removing them and the next day. They are already scabbed over. Looking forward to your updated pics too! :):):)

Ouch!!! I have toddlers too. And one almost grabbed a drain. I wanted to cry lol. Omg no way, 12 inches?! It's going to feel so weird when they take it out. Do the numb you in that area before removing the drains? Ooh no, poor babies. Hope they get well soon! Did you upload the pics here? I'd like to see it. If not add me on facebook: Francesca Bulduan
Also how's your scar? Were u able to apply Bio Oil to it right after the drains were taken out? Sorry, I'm asking too many questions lol.

I replied to this. But for some reason can see it here. Can you?

Hi there! I was hoping to follow up with how your doing now that it's been a couple of months. I'm scheduled for next week and obviously very nervous! Your photos look amazing so far! How is your sensation now and do you feel ready for summer?
May 7, 2020
Girl!!! I am feeling so much better now. So glad I got the tummy tuck. My stomach is not in pain anymore. And I am slowly starting to feel my stomach lol. I can actually exercise. It doesn't hurt at all. The first week was probably the worse!!! Did you book you tummy tuck with Dr.Young?

Today I went to get my drains taken out. It felt so weird! Kind of felt like like my organs were being rearranged. It didnt hurt bc I took an oxycodone and muscle relaxer 1 hour prior to that. The nurse removed the gauze and took pics. I have to go back in a week to remove the surgical tape. It looks really good. Just swollen a bit. But that will go away. Cant wait to go back to the gym!!! And if you wonder how's the pain it wasn't that bad. The 3 days were bad. But after that I had a bit of pain. Got angry yesterday and my abs were hurting bad. Didnt know we used our muscles when we get upset. I'm so happy the drains are out.
