I am getting very anxious at this point Surgery is scheduled for Tuesday. Preop Monday afternoon. I’ve had 3 csections. It wasn’t until my last that I realized things were different this time around. Even after I lost the weight my stomach was different. It never went flat. Maybe bc I was over 40 when I had my last...Ive tried all the mummy tummy exercises.. but never went flat. Fast forward to this last summer when i started having low back pain.. and i have an umbilical hernia... so it is happening . I am dreading the recovery. And I am scared of the scar....going to post my preop pics...

I am a ball of nerves. I just met with the doctor and we discussed the surgery. I had questions about the scar. He answered all of my questions. He is going to correct my hernia as well tomorrow. His office is beautiful. He was very nice and to the point which I actually prefer to small talk. He appeared confident and I’m trusting him.....

Hi, I have mine done in July and I am equally as nervous, more so about post op care. Are you going to a recovery home or will someone be taking care of you at home?

I just had some questions again re: scar placement and belly button while the surgeon was marking me up.. plus again pain management and going under anesthesia. I don't think people put enough importance on the other Dr in the room.. the anesthesiologist..s/he is responsible for keeping us asleep.. lucky, I really liked this one. I just brought a button front night long night shirt/gown as the nurses told me to bring whatever is easiest to put on after surgery...my glasses, wallet, and phone...You will be ok! but I totally know how you must be feeling as I felt it too! :)

It is go time today. I have my IV in already. The doctor has marked me. I am waiting for anesthesia now. I wish it was over and I was in postop instead of preop... I miss my girls already. I needed my coffee this morning but couldn’t have it today. Something to look forward too...

I missed my coffee today! I am all done.. some discomfort but no real pain as the surgeon injected exparel on both stomach and the breast implant i need lowered... hoe you are getting some sleep now!
