Dr. Lourdes Owes Me An Apology For Stealing My Money

UPDATED FROM Allmine123

NO CONSIDERATION FOR MY TRAVEL TIME, NO APOLOGY GIVEN FOR STEALING MY MONEY

Dr. Lourdes owes me an apology. I traveled from the United States to the Dominican Republic, and it appeared that doctor Lourdes saw dollar signs. The recovery house she recommended tested me for Covid and charged me $75 upon my arrival and the next morning Dr. Lourdes tested me for Covid and charged me $150 for the test. My BMI was great, bloodwork was excellent, and in good health with no previous surgeries. Before my travel I completed all tests in the U.S. to make sure that my hemoglobin was where it should be. My mammogram, and cardiology tests were negative and were shown to Dr. Lourdes during my visit. I'm completely aware that she must conduct her own bloodwork, exams, and bmi to make sure I would survive the surgery.
During my visit with her, I paid her in advance, and then she made me see her friend a Cardiologist, another one of her friends to do a stress test, and another one of her friends to do a pulmonary.
During my stress test I requested the person conducting the stress test to put the treadmill on the highest incline and I took off running. This was more than proof that I was in great shape. Dr. Lourdes still sent me to see her friend to conduct the pulmonary test. I took the pulmonary tests and she viewed my results from cardiology, which clearly showed that I am in great shape. The test was totally unnecessary.
Since I did not agree to continue testing with the pulmonary doctor, she cancelled my surgery and kept $1,000. These tests were not discussed upfront before my travel to the Dominican. I could see if my heart showed palpitations/irregular heartbeats, heavy breathing, or medications relating to heart disease. I had none. It took a day to travel there with flight delays. I don't recommend Dr. Lourdes and recommend that you get everything in writing with her in your chat about tests so that she does not send your around to her friends. Find someone else that considerate and cares.

Office review: she canceled my surgery when I refused a test

I wasted nothing but time, and money. I traveled to the Dominican Republic from the United States to have surgery. Dr. Lourdes Rodriguez, have her patients pay for a bunch of tests that they do not need. Yes, it is important to have bloodwork, x-ray, & sonogram. Dr. Lourdes sent me to all of her doctor friends to help fund their practice and when I refused the last test she cancelled my surgery. I paid out of pocket$ 1,000 in U.S. money for tests. $1 in U.S. money $55,030 in their money. $200 for bloodwork (blood draw) is definitely over priced in the Domican Republic. When she cancelled the surgery she refused to bill me the cost of health services in her Country. She Stole From Me and refused to do the surgery. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SURGEON.

The above person is a relative of mines. She refused to take the lung test. With any good doctor, it’s important that you get cleared for surgery and that means taking the necessary tests to make sure that you won’t have any complications during surgery. Yeah, the lung test was hard because we are use to exhaling and inhaling. I didn’t give up on the test. Unfortunately, my cousin gave up and now she annotated this fictitious review on Dra Rodriguez. I love my results and I would not have wanted any other doctor to have perform my surgery. Too bad that my cousin missed out on having excellent results! I highly recommend Dra Rodriguez. She is very professional and she responds expeditiously. When I ran out of money, Dra Rodriguez paid for me to have my faja altered. I paid her back but what doctor do you know would have that for their patient.
No one can speak for someone else's experience. What I shared with Dr. Lourdes was between Dr. Lourdes and I. This is confidential. I have a right to share my experience without anyone's approval. Just because Dr. Lourdes helped deltagirl, does not mean she provided me the same kindness. The interference of deltagirl, is no different from people telling people that were not raped, abused, bullied or teased. How can you, if you were not there, and you definitely didn't pay her on my behalf. Therefore deltagirl, if you are not going to reimbusement for the money I paid Dr. Lourdes kept, reimburse me for my flight, time spent, and inconvenience, then you should stay out of it and accept her good deed she bestowed on you. As for me, she owes me an apology and a refund.
