Unbiased Opinion
Dr. Jhonny Salomon has always taken the time to see me and listen to my questions and address my concerns. A member of my family had recommended him after having undergone a procedure with him a few years ago.
Dr. Salomon performed a breast lift with an exchange of implants and a tummy tuck less than a week ago so it is a bit premature to comment on the final outcome at this point. However, I feel my recovery seems to be quick and the expected swelling is decreasing rapidly. I have been going to the office daily for lymphatic massages that have definitely been helpful with the recovery of the bruising and swelling.
I would like to express that Dr. Salomon has demonstrated the upmost care by taking the time to joyfully greet me and see my post-op progress on a daily basis. He is soft-spoken, has great bedside manners, and is always willing to listen and answer any questions; he’s a truly dedicated professional. His staff are all pleasant, kind, smiling, and understanding.
To provide an unbiased review, one would have to additionally consider the opposite side of the positive perspective. I had been charged for a pain pump upfront. At the time of payment, after inquiring about it, I had been told it was a physical pump that automatically dispenses pain medication after the surgery. After the surgery, although the prescription for Percocet had been filled (and I tend to not be in pain as others may be), I noticed I didn’t have the pump. I brought the charge up to the office manager, requesting a refund for it to no avail. I was told something else was used. This is perplexing to me as I assume, as in previous personal and familial surgeries, that the anesthesiologist takes care of the analgesic and prescriptions take care of pain at home. Keep in mind, I have two documents mentioning the pain pump as well as the office employee’s explanation of, and the need for it. In regards to the unrecovered pain pump charges, that remains unresolved. If something had changed from the documentation and verbal explanation provided in preparation for the surgery, any changes should have been discussed and disclosed prior to the surgery. Also, the massages have not been on time, waiting up to an hour at one point. However, the masseuse is very good and it is understandable that if just one patient is late, that distorts the scheduled appointments for the rest of the day. Perhaps best practices can include calling the upcoming patients and notifying them of the delay.
All in all, Dr. Jhonny Salomon has shown to be a blessing of a person, an experienced and dedicated surgeon, demonstrating care and concern for his patients. His staff is friendly, the office is pristine, and one feels welcomed. As initially stated, I am less than a week post-op and the final “look” will take some time but, as of today, I believe I will be very pleased. Will I use Dr. Salomon again or recommend him? Yes!!!
