8 months later- TUMMY TUCK
I have nothing but great things to say about my TUMMY TUCK. I had ZERO problems. The belly button, the scar... everything went amazing and I only wish I had done it sooner. The doctor and the procedure was easier with the shot. I had 5 inches of width in my stomach that the doctor stitched up to make my muscles back together. It is amazing the difference. I did decide to do the backside with the same doctor Feb. 12th 2020. I felt like I had only addressed 1/2 of the issue and now I am satisfied with in my midsection after having five children.
3 MONTHS POST OP- tummy tuck
I had my 3 month post op today from my tummy tuck. My numbness in my lower abdomen is still present. I don't mind it at all. The swelling is usually only at night and minimal at this point. I am a solid size 4 now. (size 6 when I had the surgery). I would do it again. I only regret not doing it sooner. The pain was not near as bad as everyone says it is.
8 WEEKS POST OP
I can honestly say that this was the BEST decision I have ever made for ME. I have zero pain, zero complications and my swelling is still there but NOT nearly as bad in the last two weeks. I see the progress and how amazing the results are now. When I had my last exam Dr Warnock did express that he could have taken more from my backside if I had done the procedure around the entire front and backside. I am very small and there is a big difference from the front (extra skin is ALL GONE) to the backside. He said in a few months we could maybe just extend the incision and do the back to get rid of the extra skin. It would not be as painful as the tummy tuck. I am going to keep this in mind as I heal. So my lower abdomen (under belly button) is still very swollen and it feels "tight". NO pain... I also notice more now than ever how loose my legs are. I can't believe how fast of a recovery this has been from some of the posts that said it would be 6 months and a full year to feel like myself again. I feel fabulous and am being very patient with myself.
