How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Tummy Tuck and Ab Fix
I will start with a very simple truth:I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR - MY RESULTS ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ~ better results than I could have ever imagined ~ VERY QUICK AND COMFORTABLE RECOVERY!
-I will add pics, but need to get the before photos from office and have not yet requested them
I am about 8 weeks post-op, and loving my flat, tight, and perfectly contoured new tummy!
Here is what I got:
-Lipo - Knees, Inner Thighs, upper and lower abdomen
-Abdominoplasty with ab revision (sewing the several inch gap between my ab wall back together)
-Tummy Tuck because...why not?
-Lip Filler
NOTE: I went back to work in my office in 10 days! Counting weekends, I only missed one full week, and I worked from home anyway (but I have been told this is very rare to recover so quick so be advised):
Doctor Raniere is incredibly patient and thoughtful/thorough. Cheryl, Dr. R's right hand gal, is absolutely amazing. She is responsive, kind, and generally a super-cool chick. She keeps the wheels on the bus. The entire office's staff is fantastic, in fact.
How I came to the decision to schedule a consultation:
I have had two children. One is 13, I gained 90 lbs, and bounced back like a rubber band. One is 4, I gained about 50lbs, and thought I bounced back although there was always a strange vertical ridge going down the center of my tummy....until I gained about 30lbs while I quit smoking and drinking and became very uncomfortable with my tummy for the first time in my life.
My stomach all of a sudden became very distended, my belly button stuck out, and I was miserable. I could not figure out why no amount of working out was effective.
Originally, I went to Dr. Raniere for lipo, thinking that was my last resort. Upon further inspection, he discovered that I had a pretty bad case of diastasis recti (when your ab muscles never come back together after child birth) and a belly button hernia. I was relieved that there was an answer, but worried because I knew that I couldn't take much time off of work.
I was able to talk to the anesthesia team before the procedure, and let them know that I have an unusually high tolerance for pain medication. They were also patient, professional, and kind.
On the day of the surgery (oh yeah, the surgery center is attached to their offices!!), I went back to the OR prep room on time, changed into my hospital gown, spoke to the doc and told him to 'go hard in the paint', and off I went into surgery. When I woke up, I was in a full-body garment and was very comfortable.
When I got home, I was able to get ahead of the pain and stay that way. I used a recliner to stay and sleep in. I got up for the bathroom on my own, and was able to do basic tasks right away. The hardest thing was that I was out of breath easily, but that is to be expected.
At my two-week checkin, I was feeling like a million bucks, and had minimal swelling. The Doc was also pleased, and it has only gotten better from there. I would do it all over again in a 'skinny' minute! MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TODAY, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!
