Providing an update as I’m at 9weeks! Showing my scar for someone who asked it is a T-scar because the doctor felt that would be better versus have an indent where my old belly button was. My scar is super low and already as faded a lot! I certainly can wear virtually any bikini. I also love that some of my ab muscles are starting to show through. I’m back to running a few miles a day (still at slower speeds then I’m used to), lifting weights and just this past week and am reintroducing some an work. I feel great and some days forget I had surgery now. I also have very little swelling anymore which is awesome. I used Spanx religiously 24x7 until about 6 weeks and then just at night until 8 weeks and now only as needed. Loving my results! Look and feel great!
5'6'' 125lb Runner - Very Pleased with Results!
I came to Dr. Fasching for my Tummy Tuck consultation and no one else because a couple of years ago he did my breast augmentation and I've been so pleased with his work and his team. I just knew I didn't want to look anywhere else! I was still anxious going into all this because it felt like a scary undertaking. But honestly now being 2 weeks out I'm so glad I did it and the recovery has really been a dream. I had a substantial diastasis going into the procedure, along with a small umbilical hernia and loose skin. Having been a very thin, active person, it's been challenging to not feel comfortable wearing a bikini or maximizing my exercise routines because my core being so weak. Now I cannot wait for bikini season! And I'm certainly itching to get back on the treadmill but will wait until the doctor gives me the OK. What I can say is have help for the first few days 24 hours. Then from there, you will become more independent. By day 3 I was off the hard pain meds, by day 5 I was driving really short distances, and by 1 week I was able to do some very light house cleaning (like wiping a counter or cleaning a dish). At 2 weeks now I can walk a mile or two outside and that feels great. I am in no pain, just have some mild swelling that occurs throughout the day which they said can occur for awhile. I love my new figure and my new belly button and cannot wait to leverage my new core in my exercise routine! Feeling incredible!
