After my third baby, my stomach took a serious beat down. The skin and muscles are loose and need to be tucked and tightened. I did some physical therapy for the ab separation however, as my baby gets heavier, my abs dont engage and my back is in a lot of pain. . Dr. Guerra did my breast aug in 2012 and I really love them. I chose him again because it looks like his scar is low, he does great pain management and uses quilted sutures (progressive tension sutures), so it limits the drains, lowers the rick of senomas and the drain stays in for under a week. I know a lot of people like to say that they like the presonalily of their PS. They make them feel good when they are talking...etc. I am not interested in having a deep relationship with my PS. I want him to provide the best results in Scottsdale. I would say that his bedside manner has improved, but again, I am not in this process to have a feel good relationship. At the end of the day, I want good results. Good results don't come from him being a good talker. They come from him being an expert surgeon and that is what Dr. Guerra is.

Hi everyone :)
Quick update, directly after surgery was when I was in the most pain. My blood pressure was through the roof and they gave me a shot of morphine. I stayed in the overnight recovery center. The surgery center and recovery room that Dr Guerra and his staff provided, was top notch. After the morphine shot, it was smooth sailing. Recovery has been pretty uneventful. The drain is a pain in the butt and my hips are swollen and black and blue. I did not get lipo there so its a mystery why Im so swollen there, I' m sure it has to do with the lymph system and rewiring itself and that is where my body is collecting fluid/swelling. I am not used to my hips being so big and wide, so its uncomfortable for sure. I know this will subside. I got a quick peak at my incision and belly button and I am impressed. My tummy is hard as a rock, not sure that is a good thing? My skin is tight and its uncomfortable to walk and stand still.
I'm excited to see how I feel in one more week. I will upload pics when I can. Happy to be healing and resting, thankful for family to take care of my kiddos. You will need someone to watch your kids for at least a week, if not longer. For me it will be at least two weeks.

Hi there :)
Three weeks postop and what a difference a couple weeks of made. I just started walking straight which was a surprise but it took this long. I am still sleeping in the recliner and when I get up from a seated position are usually am hunched over a little bit for a minute or so. The swelling has gone down dramatically but there is still some in my lower abdomen and on my hips. My right hip still has a good amount of swelling and I’m working on that I’m massaging it. three weeks postop and what a difference a couple weeks of made. One huge game changer for me has been lymphatic massage. It is pricey and not always comfortable but it has made a huge difference in my healing and swelling. Such a difference. Please look into and start it as soon as possible. It will decrease swelling, pain, and recovery time. It will also decrease your chance for fluid build up leading to an infection, which was really important to me. There is an area on my incision but I’m still swollen and my skin is not flat. I’m not in love with this area but I know a lot can change in the coming weeks. I also have realistic expectations from the surgery. I know Dr. Guerra is incredibly talented and good at his job but he is not a magician and The human body heals and moves in unexpected ways. In my opinion his work is pretty close to perfection and I couldn’t be more greatful!!
