33yo Male - Booked In For Tummy Tuck & Gynecomastia Surgery
LB6858March 13, 2017
Hello, i'm new here but after reading a lot of peoples post, i thought i'd share my story.
The short version is i'm a 33 year old male, who was once very overweight and now after a good few years am in a position to be able to sort my post weight loss body out.
After countless hours of research i came across Stuart who is only a couple of miles away in the next town to me. I've had my consultation, i have my pre-op tomorrow 14th March, and the first of my 2 procedures is booked for 27th March, with the second booked for mid June.
I've never been in this position before so i'm 50% excited 50% anxious.
If there's anyone out there in / has been in this position or just has some advice, please feel free to comment, i'd love to speak to you all.
I will try and update my story as things progress, i will include any pictures i have, good, bad & ugly, and hopefully a better looking torso in a few months!

Sorry for the lack of updates, but i had my gynecomastia surgery 9 days ago. Glad to say everything went well and i'm getting on with recovery. The surgery ended up being 4hrs 15mins long which was a bit unexpected, but i had quite a bit of skin and tissue removed. I still have a compression garment on so i've not seen the wounds yet, but i am FLAT!!! Apparently there's enough tissue left for some chest definition, but to me i look flat. Already loving the results!
So i'm still very stiff, but i've not had much 'pain', just very uncomfortable, and sleeping is a nightmare.
I'm meant to have my compression garment for 23 hours a day for 6 weeks, but i took it off for an hour a couple of days ago and had to put it straight back on, i felt like i had zero support and it was horrible!!
Anyway, if anyone has any questions please ask away. I will update more often now, and pics will follow shortly.

Well i've just had my chest dressings off, not the most pleasant experience, i almost fainted! haha. But they look great, healing really nicely & i'm able to start showering from tomorrow. It seems strange seeing my nipples smaller & further up. But the scars look neat and not too swollen really.
Downside is i now feel very exposed, but i'm sure that will pass. Still have to wear my compression garment for another 4 and a half weeks.
Lindsey (the surgeons wife) was lovely. Very helpful, and was pleased with how they looked.
I'll get some pictures of my chest over the next couple of days and i can start doing some before and after shots.
Quite looking forward to June now to have the final surgery!!

15 days post op, feeling a lot more mobile…
LB6858April 11, 2017
15 days post op, feeling a lot more mobile now, little bit stiff still, but nothing to complain about.
The most uncomfortable thing now is when i'm cold and my nipples harden, it's a very odd sensation and actually quite sore, i'm guessing its pulling on the stitches, so i'm avoiding being out in the cold as much as i can. I've noticed some bruising under my arms, which i didn't see in the first week post op, nothing major, but i'm sure it has only shown up in the last few days.
The compression garment is becoming very itchy, and doesn't help having my chest hair growing back underneath, but got 4 more weeks left to wear it.
Anyway, i have another follow up consultation in just under 4 weeks which is also going to double as assessment for my tummy tuck (booked for June 19th) which will be here in no time. If i'm honest i'm a bit anxious about my TT as i think it's going to be a lot more tough than the surgery i've just had.
Hoping aswel that i can get back on my turbo trainer in the next couple of weeks as i'm starting to feel quite lethargic. I'm walking to work now as i still can't drive but it sure doesn't feel like a good workout!
