WORTH IT$6,300
Quick update. Everything is going really well. I’m healing well. All spitting stitches have been resolved. The only thing I am dealing with now is swelling in my calves and ankles. I am in a XXS faja now. I still wear it day and night. I was told to wear it like this until 3 months then I can transition to wearing it at night only. Here are a few pictures

Girlll you look fabulous! I am so excited for you. My surgery with Gomez is November 15th. I am working out trying to get myself ready. Please keep sharing your updates.
@djarvis thanks so much! Congratulations on your date! Keep up the hard work!
Hi ,
You look amazing...I am putting down my deposit for Gómez in the next couple of weeks for next summer. I am getting the exact same thing you received. How did the fat graphing go underneath the eye? I want to get that done but his daughter told me they didn’t have any pics bc patients want to stay anonymous.

Back in the USA

So I left Bogota on the red eye @ 12 am. My driver got me a wheelchair assist so I didn’t have to wait in the long lines. I waited about an hour and a half before boarding. The flight was uneventful. I saved two of my hydrocodone pills for the trip home, I took one on the flight and the other on the drive home. I had a layover in Miami for 4 hours. It wasn’t bad, but Miami airport is a mess as far as logistics. Flight from Miami home wasn’t bad. I’ve been getting around on since I’ve been home. I’ve had my mom do the massages for me untill I my appointment Monday. She’s actually really good! The worst part is the feeling of the swelling in my back and lower abdomen. Today is Saturday July 6th. I woke up to spitting stitches under each breast and along the ends of my TT incision. The doc informs me this is normal. He had already given me different creams and ointments in case this happened. My drain sites are healing well, they are slightly open and still draining but no pus. Overall I feel good about how things are going, I take naproxen or Tylenol every now and then when the pain gets to be too much. I can home with 3 fajates. Somehow my medium got lost after I took it off, so I’ve just ordered another off Amazon. It looked exactly like the one i have on so I’m hoping it does the trick. Well, that’s enough for now. The pics I’m posting are of the spitting stitches and a few days ago.

Thank you so much for sharing! I desperately want a tummy tuck a well! Your results are beautiful!!
Thank you!
Welcome back! Happy you are doing well. I was curious to know if customs asked you about your purpose for travel (both going and returning)? Did you respond with pleasure, or medical reasons? I also have a layover in Miami.
They did both ways and the ticket agent asked as well. I just told them vacation.
Hi thanks for posting such a detailed review. May I ask why you didn't tell Customs that you were traveling for medical reasons? What if they see the surgical garment (faja) etc.? Isn't it better to say surgery so you get priority seating and so the flight staff check on you more frequently? Also they will know you need to be up and moving on longer flights?
I told them vacation because in the past others have been searched after saying surgery. Customs does not determine seating on the plane and does not advise or supervise flight staff. Two entirely different entities. Also no one an restrict our movements on the plane. People who don't have surgery have the right to mow once the fasten seatbelt sign is off. The garment is also worn by people who haven't had surgery as a shaper so that means nothing.
The right to move on the plane

B4 and after massage pics

I’m doing much better everyday. Did I mention I had to go for an iron infusion in Tuesday? I think that helped my weakness felling ALOT! yesterday I saw El-JEFFE (dr.G) for my first in office post op. He had been seeing me in the apartment up until this point. His office is very modern stylish. As always he greets me with
a huge hug and kiss. He really is very kind. He leaves so i can disrobe with my caregiver. Once in his exam chair he comes over and says “nice boobies!!!” And everyone laughs. Taking out sutures from breasts, arms, thighs, belly button and abdomen. It really didn’t hurt at all. I will say the belly button felt the weirdest. It’s still super numb around my belly button all the way to my mons area. Overall I feel really good. I did get a slight fever with chills later that night. I woke up feeling achy etc. I took one pain pill and two Tylenol to help with that. My caregiver made me pancakes so I ate that and walked around the apartment then went back to bed for 4 hours until my massage. Everyday I shower 30 minutes prior to my massage. I took a shower today and gel really good. My drain thats located between my buttocks hurts the worst when she massages my lower back and flanks. Today though, it really didn’t hurt. YAY! I feel I’m getting back to myself more each day. Yesterday and today the masseuse used a machine to take down swelling above the abdomen incision line. I’m posting before and after pics from yesterday and today.

Hi! Thank you for posting your journey. I will also have surgery with Dr Gomez. I'm so grateful to be able to ask you questions. Were you able to find out the cause for your intense nausea, vomiting, and hematoma? Did they call the ambulance immediately or did they hesitate? I'm very nervous about the surgery, and just trying to learn as much as I can about the recovery portion, and how to improve the experience. You mentioned that you were in a lot of pain initially when you woke up, did they give you pain meds immediately? Do you have any recommendations for someone who has a super low tolerance for pain? Also, were you cold, especially at night? Do you think I should bring my own heating blanket to the recover house. Did you bring along beverages like ensure? Thanks for your time and for answering my questions.
Nausea and vomiting can be normal after surgery. They did give me pain medication as soon as I asked for it. The ambulance was called immediately. I recommend you try to eat something when it take out oral pain medication and antibiotics, otherwise you will vomit. I brought a heating blanket because it’s cold here and I’m cold natured. Have a little extra money on hand for food, fajate and medications and pads. I would say about $300-500 should cover it.
Thank you for replying so quickly.
By the way, you mentioned that you feel as though you were alone on real self, you are not. I've read a lot of reviews which helped a lot, still i did not reply. You are the first person I've replied to mostly because my surgery is getting closer so it is becoming more real, and I will be seeing the same doctor. So just know that you are helping many other women, even though you may not get feedback in the same quantity. I also wanted to ask about your plans on returning home. You mentioned the Bronx, are you from NY. I will be coming from NJ. I plan on staying for two weeks. Will you be getting wheelchair assistance? I heard that we cannot wear our raja through security at the airport but I still need to find out how accurate that is. Would love to hear about your airport plans and also the experience, once you get back.
I appreciate your feedback and questions. You can wear the faja in the airport but you cannot wear foam or anything like that under the faja.
Any updates? How's the recovery?
Love the kindness and genuine admiration your ps demonstrates with his patients. He has a remarkable bedside manner and that speaks for itself. Being nauseous after a surgery is very common. My ps gave me zofran and it helped immensely. Take care!!!
