I first heard about him through people in my hometown who had amazing outcomes. After doing my research, I felt confident in my decision. He’s not only incredibly skilled but also kind, warm, and attentive.

In 2022, I treated myself to a mommy makeover for my 50th birthday. I wanted a natural look — just to feel confident and look great in my clothes — and Dr. Gomez delivered exactly that. I was so happy with my results and felt amazing.

Over time, I went through a tough period emotionally and fell out of healthy habits. I gained weight and started to notice changes in my body, including some “dog ears” and hardness in my lower abdomen. I want to be clear: these changes were not due to Dr. Gomez’s work, but rather my own lifestyle during that time.

I reached out to the amazing Liliana, who has been supportive since 2021. She’s knowledgeable, kind, and always available — I truly consider her a friend. With her help, I scheduled a second round with Dr. Gomez for liposuction. Once again, he listened to my concerns and delivered the results I wanted.

The care I received during both procedures was exceptional. The nurses and CNAs were amazing — they treated me with such kindness and attentiveness. I received round-the-clock care, and meals were freshly prepared three times a day. I never needed or wanted for anything.

Now, one month post-op, I’m focused on maintaining my results. I walk daily, watch what I eat, do self-massage at home, and plan to gradually return to the gym. I feel confident, empowered, and excited about what’s ahead. My goal? To be a strong, sexy, and toned grandma — and thanks to Dr. Gomez and his team, I’m well on my way!

From my initial contact with Lilliana, Dr. Gomez patient coordinator, I was never alone. Each time I reached out, I got the same person. So there was no retelling my situation to several different people, notes not taken, or any of the other stories I've heard about. All my questions were answered in a timely manner. I'm talking from the very beginning, even now! Never was it a rush for me to make a deposit. I'd been watching Dr. Gomez for a couple of years and knew that he'd deliver the results I wanted. Dr Gomez knows his business. He's professional, gentle and very kind. And most importantly he listens. He answered all my questions, some multiple times, offering his professional opinion and stating facts. He held my hand as I was going under sedation. And as grown as I am, I needed that and I felt a sense of calmness. I KNEW I was in good hands. After I came to, my nurse was there. She (Ladi) my overnight nurse, was the sweetest young lady. Ohhh, let me tell you how I had an overnight nurse. I purchased and HIGHLY recommend the Recovery Package. My packaged included a beautifully decorated, 2 bedroom recovery apartment for 10 days. An assistant (Angela) each day of my stay. She prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner, cleaned, accompanied me to all my appointments and assisted me anything I needed. It also included a FREE faja and 10 massages. Vivianna's hands are amazing and she answered the many questions I asked. As I'm writing this, I'm 17 DPO and I'm loving my new figure! Leaving with post-op instructions from Dr. Gomez, and traveling back to my country, I'm confident I can now take care of myself!!

I had in September 2021 a mommy makeover and I’m so happy with results. I paid for accommodation thru dr gomez and the staff were amazing. I’m thinking about returning to do smth about this arms. I only can recommend him he is the best

Dr. Gómez is such a profesional surgeon, he is board certified as well, I had lipo 360, with bbl done, he completely snatchers my waist and my but lift hasn’t shrink at all. He as well is kind hearted and will always be by your side specially when you are feeling anxious before surgery. He will always answer you questions. He, and his team definitely made this experience worth it, I will always recommend him to anyone.

My experience with Dr. Gomez was simply amazing! This was my very first time ever getting surgery, and Dr. Gomez and his team made sure it was the most memorable experience ever! I absolutely refer and recommend everyone to go through with Dr. Gomez if they’re ever looking into any kind of surgery! I will start from the beginning - I have been wanting to do a mommy makeover for 2-3 years now and the reason I didn't get it done quickly is because I was searching for a plastic surgeon that I could trust with my body and my life since I am a mom and want to live LOL. Life is precious you know! And reading reviews after reviews of people having bad experiences and even death with other surgeons, truly put fear in me and postponed my surgery for several years.But I never stopped searching for a surgeon and one day I came across Dr. Gomez and the reviews about him, my first impression.... "hmm he got too many good reviews, what if this is a scam?"... I know, I can be extremely skeptical, and you have to be nowadays. So I started researching Dr. Gomez in more deeper level LOL... in the meantime I was still emailing to other surgeons to see who can be a trustworthy and who will be responding back to me quickest.Let me tell you something, all the surgeons that I got in touch with, Dr. Gomez was the fastest who responded back to me, while other surgeons would reply in 3-4 days. Dr. Gomez's coordinator Lily would respond back to my email or message within 5 minutes or 1-hour max. That itself amazed me. I asked so many questions and Lily was on top of it with answers and giving me all the information I needed.Dr. Gomez also had 40+ years of experience with no death in his record which also was great plus for my decision making. My another concern was, I will be going to another country to get big surgery done, which will require for me to find a place to stay, hire nurses to take care of me during healing process, food, massage, driver to take me to see a doctor.... I was overwhelmed, and Lily organized it all for me. All I had to do is just show up for my surgery and they did the rest. That was BONUS!Also, Dr. Gomez is known doing surgeries that gives you natural look which I loved, I was reviewing other clients in his instagram account, facebook page... it impressed me. That's what I was aiming for. Everyone looked very natural. I am back home now and I am on my 8 weeks post op and feeling so sexy. My scar of my tummy tuck is healed and looks actually very good and fading away.My major concern was, SCAR in my stomach and belly button after my tummy tuck, because I have seen many women who had their tummy tuck surgery done with other surgeons had very weird looking belly button and straight cut scar, which was not natural at all. Well, guess what? Dr. Gomez truly transforms you into a doll! I love how I have beautiful stomach with cute belly button. I feel so feminine and sexy, my confidence level is skyrocket.The other day my son looks at me and says “Mom, your body looks so different?” so I asked him, “What do you mean different?”, and he says “Your body looks like an hourglass!” … and kids don’t lie! You might come across to bad reviews here about Dr. Gomez, honestly, I read them too and that’s what pushed me to do more research on Dr. Gomez, and I still made the decision to go to him which I DON’T REGRET.Advice from personal experience: do what doctor tells you to do, follow the routine and take your prescribed pills on time. He will teach you before sending you home how to take care of your wounds and please follow that. Trust me, I did everything he told me to do and wounds healed without any issues! Dr Gomez is the only surgeon I truly trust in Colombia. I had two rounds with him and my results matched my expectations both times. Natural results but everybody would ask me if I had surgery since my body looked so good. I was a bit scared to get a tummy tuck since I was scared that my belly button wouldn’t look natural or my scar to big, but let me tell you that my belly button looks even better than the one that I was born with and my scar isn’t too long either.
By the way, International ladies, don’t worry he speaks english !! The nurses, the drivers, the caregivers are all super nice and treat you like family, they make you feel like your home knowing you’re 1000 miles away from your family and kids. I would definitely go back if I need a touch up in the future. Love you dr Gomez and Lily!!!

He did a great job. I got a breast reduction. The nurses were helpful. I had my procedure done right before the pandemic so things were quite scary, nonetheless, but I would do it over again. I recommend paying extra to have the nurses there longer. I felt 4 days was not enough as I was very weak after surgery. I had minor complications when I got home with the swelling of my scars but I used some antibiotic topical cream and it cleared up. Other than that, everything is well.

I'm here in Bogotá Colombia laying in my bed at the recovery house, trying to keep my blood pressure under control (thinking about the pain I will be in is making it high). I'm 37 yrs old with 3 children (girls 19, 13 & a son 10). I have been wanting to do this since I gave birth to my son 10 yrs ago after having my tubes tied. I've gained weight, lost weight and gained it back again. Then I was told I needed to lose 15-20 before my surgery so that is what I did. Once my BMI was under 34 I was ready to set a date. So Tomorrow is the big day. As you can see I have been a member on here for 7 yrs and have researched so many doctors. I finally found him, Dr Rafael Gomez. A good friend actually referred me to him, so I started researching on here. Then I followed him on Facebook, and instagram. His before and after pics look great. Lily the surgery coordinator is a heaven sent. She has made this whole process go so smoothly. Always responds quickly to my questions and very helpful. She has helped me get here and I am grateful for her. I had my in person consultation yesterday with Dr Gomez, he made me feel at ease, soft spoken and answered all my questions. And there is actually another Gomez doll here recovering and she looks amazing. The nurses are so sweet and attentive with her and me as well, even though I haven't had my surgery yet. So not sure when I will be able to take after pics but hopefully I should within a week. As of now here are my before pics.

I had to go back under anesthesia 3 times total. First time on he 8th when I of my mommy make over, 2nd was 4 days after that to graph skin to my nipple because it wasn’t getting blood circulation and it was dying, and the 3rd time was because me incisions under my breast and on my stomach were opening up and they needed to be closed. I ended up having o sty in Colombia for a whole month so they they could monitor me and make sure I was healing properly. I’m home now and trying to do everything I was told. It’s kind of hard though to take it easy since I am the homemaker. But here are a few pics of my breast and stomach
