Totally in love with the new me - tummy tuck 3 months ago

After having children (and just general aging), my body changed. I worked out regularly and could never seem to trim the fat in the belly region. I worked hard. I was always happy with my legs, butt, and arms. I was just never satisfied with my belly. Living on the beach is gruesome. I’d work so hard for months and then when spring and summer rolled around, I often felt defeated! Sad! Months of working out and my belly still hung over my c-section scar.

I’d visited multiple doctors over the years. I really did not want to get cut on. I was terrified of all of which came with the procedure… I hoped that cool sculpting would change my looks. Two of my most trusted doctors explained why cool sculpting would not work for me.

The inevitable was lurking in the midst. I had several consultations with Dr. V prior to making the official appointment. Each and every visit I was treated with care and concern and not ever pushed into doing anything I didn’t want to do.

I after I think the third visit, I went home and again discussed everything with my husband, who was (and is) so supportive of me. It was that night that I decided to book.
From the moment I made my decision, I knew I was in excellent hands. I can’t tell you how comforting and helpful Dr. V’s entire staff was and still is. Everyone was supportive in helping me feel at ease. Even my phone calls leading up to the procedure were relaxed and helpful.

The day of my procedure I was greeted by phenomenal nurses at the surgery center. They helped ease my nerves and spoke to me the entire time helping to ease my tension.
Upon arriving home after my tummy tuck, Dr. V called my husband to check in on me. Starting that next day, I think it was every day and then every other day where Dr. V or someone on his staff called me to check in on me! I couldn’t believe the care I got! I am forever grateful for finding Dr. V.

About two months after my procedure, I ordered a dress online. Not that I was ever BIG, but I had a some “jiggly stuff” (according to my school-ages girls). Anyhow, clothes shopping was always stressful. Anything too tight and I felt that looked six months pregnant. Anything too baggy and it looked like a trash bag. Anyhow, about two months after my procedure, I bought a dress and when I looked in the mirror with it on, I cried! I still tear up when I think about how I felt when I looked back at myself in that dress.

Not only am I totally in love with the new me, but I am loving how I feel!
