I am now a little over 9 weeks post op. I am feeling great. Definitely a lot of itching lol. I do use cortizone sometimes. My waist is down to 25 INCHES!!! I havent had a massage in about two weeks. I have been massaging myself with a massage roller I purchased online. I am trying to get into the gym. Just to be more active.

2 Days shy of 6 weeks post op. Swelling still occurs if i am out of my faja for more than an hour. I typically only come out of it if im going to a function on the weekend. Other than that i am compressed all day everyday. I feel my best when i am compressed. The itching is definitely crazy! Pain in basically none existent. I do still get massages. I received 5 within the first 3 weeks and I took a break for about a week and a half and i got another massage last Wednesday. And i have another scheduled for next Tuesday. Please get your massages, they make a big difference.

I just want to say if you are looking for an amazing surgeon that will SNATCH you, definitely go with Dr Hennessey. His staff was awesome!! He was awesome. I was awake watching movies the entire time and felt NOTHING. Actually i felt a little pinch twice that he addressed immediately. I would do it again if I had to without any hesitation. I amonly one week out and look AMAZING ! I was out cruising houston the very next day (lightly lol).I only stayed from Tuesday until Sunday (definitely consult with them about how long you should stay).
I have received 3 massages since then. I found a great massage therapist while i was there "Silueta Spa". She was amazing!
