3 months post op

It has been 3 months since my lipo surgery. I am still very happy with my results and I can tell you that I feel much better in my clothes. It makes a huge difference when you can see your shape even through your clothes and I feel good about how I look. I still have swelling every now and then and mostly notice swelling when I work out. I work out at least 4-5 times a week so I'm hopeful to see even more results as time goes by. I've added some recent photos.

3 weeks post op

It's now been 3 weeks since my surgery. As you can see from the photos, the bruising is almost completely gone but I still have swelling. I still have good days and bad days with the swelling and it just depends on my activity on certain days. The scabs on my incisions have all fallen off except for one on my side that you can still see in the photo. I'm still wearing my garment 24/7 and only take it off to shower and to wash it. The garment is driving me nuts but I'm doing what my doctor says and I'll continue to wear it for the next 3 weeks. Needless to say, the day I don't have to wear this garment can't get here fast enough! I'm sure most of you who have had the surgery can relate. Overall I'm still very pleased with my results and looking forward to seeing final results. I'll be posting updates as I progress.

2 weeks post op

It has been 2 weeks and although I'm not in any pain, I really am tired of the swelling. I have been wearing my garment faithfully but it can get uncomfortable at times especially if I'm swelling. Some days are better than others but I notice that when I'm more active I tend to swell more which is normal. I know my body is still healing so as much as I want to start my workouts again, I don't want to push it and prolong my progress. The garment tends to bother me more at night because I like to sleep on my stomach, on my sides, but not too much on my back. I find myself tossing and turning just to get into a comfortable position. Needless to say, I can't wait to get rid of this garment. As much as I would like to stop wearing it, I can feel the difference when I take it off to shower or to wash it. I feel that my body still needs the compression so I try to put it back on as soon as I can because right now at 2 weeks out I can tell that my body is not ready to be without it. It's a pain to have to wear it but I know it's for the best. I've included some updated photos at 2 weeks. As you can see my bruising has gone down and although I'm still swollen, I'm very happy with my shape. I've been using arnica for the bruises and have been eating pineapples too so I do believe that has helped a lot with the bruising. I'm looking forward to the next few weeks and did I mention I can't wait to get rid of this garment! Lol! Urgh! I'll post more pics as I progress.
