Aftercare 5 Days Post Op

I would highly suggest anyone getting this to make sure you are able to take atleast a week or more off of work because the post-op aftercare is a beast. The compression that you have to do daily has honestly been the worst part of everything for me especially when it comes to going to sleep. I’m not yet at the point where the compression is comfortable and it has been kind of difficult being able to get good sleep while wearing the garments. I can’t wait for this phase to be over.

360 Lipo - So Glad I Did It

I am a gym girl. I workout atleast 3-4 times a week, but for some reason I could never get rid of the stomach pouch that I had. I was able to see major changes in every area of my body but that one. I did have a myomectomy about 4 years ago and the extra pouch never went away after that. I have some big things coming up career wise and decided now was the time to take the extra step to fully get to my body goals (I had already reached my weight goal).

I was recommended to Dr Long from a previous patient he had who I thought looked amazing. I met Dr Long at his consultation and immediately knew that was who I wanted to go with. His spirit is so soft and I felt at peace with him.

SURGERY DAY: Dr Long and Jessica were amazing. I had awake Tumescent Lipo. They gave me level 3 of laughing gas before starting but I asked them to keep it off because I didn't like how high it made me feel so I did do my entire surgery without any sedation (gutsy, I know lol). The surgery was 95% painless. I only leave 5% because of the little stings that you get from the lidocaine injections. Also, I am Christian and I loved that he had up pictures about his faith and he also played the Bible while doing my surgery which calmed me and gave me so much peace.

GOING HOME: I was glad I had my mom's help because you can't really move much and you leak like crazy on Day 1! Make SURE to keep padding and towels WHEREVER you lay including the car! Other than that I was little uncomfortable just from my torso being full of lidocaine but no other issues besides that.

DAY AFTER SURGERY: This was HANDS DOWN the worst day. I saw Dr Long that morning for him to change my garments and take photos. You literally feel like you got hit with a truck because of the soreness. I definitely advise keeping your pain meds with you, and this is coming from someone with a high pain tolerance. It was so hard to sleep. I barely had any sleep this night due to discomfort. And I did have to end up switching back to my original waist trainer because the new one he gave me that morning was too tight to where I could not breathe. Swelling is tremendous at this point as well.

2 DAYS POST OP: Today was better than yesterday definitely but still having swelling and soreness which is normal. I also noticed redness today in my lower abdomen. I have been moving around a lot and making sure I'm not just laying in bed. I have ran errands with my family and everything (still keeping restrictions on doing any strenuous activity). I'm excited to see what my body will look like a week from now. It's cool seeing the everyday changes but so far I LOVE my body! So glad I finally did it!
