Unreported Incidents To FDA.

I wonder how many people have suffered from traumatic facial fat loss from CO2 lasers that were never reported by the doctor? The doctors that are not reporting these incidents are contributing to further suffering and destruction of people's faces. This is not even listed as a possibility on the medical release form. How many doctors care so little about their patients and how they will affect them the rest of their lives that they do not report this kind of incidents to the FDA? It's disgraceful. The doctor has a responsibility to report an incident like this and if they don't they're contributing to the suffering of more people. I wonder how many people would have not had this happen had it been reported every time it happened.

I'm not a scientist. I just thought it would be interesting to gather this information to see if there are patterns. Thank you for participating. Check back as often as you like.

I experienced fat loss with halo and IPL. I am blood type A positive. (Side note: I use a red light mask 5 times a week for roughly 10-15 minutes at a time and that has helped to volumize my face quite a bit).

Hi I’m the person with that had horrendous fat loss and scarring and have A+ blood group. I’m interested to know what red light mask you use?. Many thanks .

Hi there! It’s called the YOOVE LED mask from Amazon and it sells for around $95. It comes with 7 colors but the red is the only one worth using and scientifically proven to stimulate elastin and collagen. It’s important to note that I used it without goggles for a few months and felt it was compromising my vision- they say it’s safe, but it felt like it was truly damaging my eyesight. I bought some opaque black goggles on amazon and use those now every single time. It’s cumbersome and tedious and I have to hold the mask on my face the entire time, but I just put on a podcast and lie back and try to relax. In fact, I’ve searched red light mask podcasts to listen to while wearing it. Very interesting! NASA created it to heal and repair damaged tissue and it really is healing my face. I’ve been consistently using it for 5 months, FYI.

I'm type O+ and I lost some in my jaw/neck after my thermage. Not the same but they told me "no fat loss" too. It wasn't severe like others but a couple of dents.

I wish I had known beforehand. No, they did not take responsibility. I didn't have the level of fat loss you had (a couple big dents) but it's still difficult to see.

I'm sorry. You have two years to file a malpractice claim in many usa states from the time of the incident.since there's documentation on thermage and fat loss an attorney should have no issue helping you.
October 13, 2020
When you had it done they probably didn't know it caused fat loss and if that's the case you were not made aware of one of the possible complications that affected many people. Many people have filed malpractice claims.

I'd love to have a link to any medical research or lawsuits filed on this issue.

Hi I am fascinated by your blood type theory. I checked your review and I made some comments a couple of years ago. Things have obviously gotten much worse and it’s now five years since laser.I am going to PM you about my blood group.Chris
