Had first treatment about 6 weeks ago (dermatologist performed the treatment), second treatment last week (different dermatologist performed) with a newer technique where there was less injections and deeper injections. Very tolerable, seeing thicker hair already (6-7 weeks out). Can't wait for my 3rd treatment. PRP only was used for this treatment. Microneedling was done with topical PRP with my first treatment but not my second.

Congratulations, just one thing, did u do the prp with acell, if not have u researched about it?
What kind of prp was your treatment?

No I didn't have Acell done with this, just PRP. I had a hair surgeon tell me he thought that since Acell is a foreign protein (pig bladder) that it would cause inflammation which is a hinderance to hair regrowth.

how much? $900 per treatment? I hear the way to go is 3 sessions a month a apart at first, then 1 every 3 or 4 months. was it $900 per session or $900 for the 1st 3 sessions?

$900 for one session. Yes I have heard 3 monthly sessions in the initial "loading phase" and then a session every 3-4 months for "maintenance" seems to be the consensus. I have been seeing places doing it anywhere from $600-$1250 per session with a discount when you sign up for the 3 loading phase treatments.

Perhaps you should consider some of the European countries for this. I had some plastic surgery done in Sofia, and a specialized Dermatologist has remodeled my face by way of injections, including PSP. I am extremely satisfied with both surgeons and especially with the prices in a country where the average income is around 600 euro.

I wish I could find a doctor who would do PRP for that price. The price I was quoted here is $5500.00 for 2 treatments. It's hard to spend that much money when there is no way to be sure it will work for me. Was that in Tucson? I could travel there, get the procedure and travel back for less than what I've been quoted.

I had it done at Skin Spectrum in Tucson. You won't be disappointed...I'm sure if you explained your situation coming from out of town they may even give you a discount of some sort.

The price is much better in Austin, Tx at a clinic called REVEVA INSTITUTE. I am planning to go in January. They specialize in hair regrowth, and for what I have found out, they are pretty good. A Total approach to regrow hair. I am planning to go in January for my first treatment
