Mohs Surgery for Basal Cell Carcinoma on Side of Nose - Tucson, AZ
ORIGINAL POST
I recently was diagnosed with Basal Cell Carcinoma...
WORTH IT$1,500
I recently was diagnosed with Basal Cell Carcinoma on the side of my nose by Dr. Katherine Orlick. Once the biopsy came back positive, I made an appointment with Dr. Jerold Olson who is in the same office as Dr. Orlick. Dr. Olson explained all of the options I had to include surgery, radiation, and medication. He went over each procedure specifically and we agreed that surgery was the best course of action, especially since it was on the side of my nose. I had the surgery about one week later in his office and the whole procedure took approximately one hour. There was approximately a 20-30 minute wait for the cells to be examined. Dr. Olson removed all the cancer cells on the first excision. There was no pain involved and it required five stitches from the corner of my eye down the side of my nose. It has been almost a month now and the scar is barely noticeable. I am very happy with Dr. Olson and the procedure and i am now cancer free.
Wow, love to see your results! Would you post some pics?
