I have always wanted this procedure. . I was always embarrassed and bothered by it when I wore tight fitting clothing. I went in about 2 weeks ago and I was feeling confident. I was put under anesthesia and an hour later I walked out the door. Pain was not so bad for the first week. Now on my second week I'm in so much pain. Itchy/stings and it feels so irritated and hard down there. I developed two small cuts and they are super painful anytime I move. I also developed what I believe to be a fungal infection which causes white drainage and extra pain every time my body discharges it. I will get to see my doctor soon and I am sure he will prescribe something for me that will help. Other than that I believe it is healing pretty ok and it looks much better down there so excited to finish healing up and getting on with my normal life. I did miss out on these dates and I will miss out on new years but it's ok... just want to get better and not make anything worse. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any questions. And thank you to the doctors that replied. Very helpful.

I just replied to your comment on my profile but have read your post on here now. That is how I felt with both of my surgeries. Things are okay the first couple days then get worse before better. You can get a pill for the yeast infection. My doctor said no baths which made things complicated to clean the yeast out. You can try using moist q tips. I also understand the pokey stitch feeling, I had that too. I ended up having to put extra Neosporin on some stitches to loosen them up for the falling out once things were healed. My doctor instructed me to do so. Also at 3.5 weeks had the last few stitches snipped out by a doctor. Just stick with it another week, you are at the worst point.

I had my surgery 10 days ago and I feel exactly the same way-I had virtually no pain for several days and then I got what I think was a mild yeast infection and it set me back-I had the trim method and instead of stitches my Dr. cauterized the edges-which I'm thankful for because there's less irritation-but, it's basically burnt skin that gives way to tender, new skin underneath scabs-it's pretty painful this week-stings horribly-He told me to apply Premarin cream several times a day-It helps a little, I think I'll try coconut oil too, it has antifungal properties. In any case, I am glad I did it and wish this wasn't such an embarrassing subject for so many women.

So I am almost a month post labiaplasty and I am feeling so much better about this whole thing. ... still not 100% sure if this was or was not a good decision but definitely feeling a lot better... not as swollen as I was and able to move around and sit more comfortably now. I still believe my labia was cut way to much but I guess I won't know that for sure until a year... my stitches are still coming off and dissolving. .. just being patient and waiting. .. here are some update photos.

How are you getting on now

Doing better. .. still tender and a bit uncomfortable when I apply pressure down where the sutters are I think not all of them are completely dissolved. .. visible bumps and swollen around the clitoris area. . I have not yet engaged in sexual activities but I'm getting comfortable enough to think that it will be okay when I do so.... also have not ridden a bike yet but do my regular workouts and feel great. ..

Hey there, we would love an update on how you are doing, how does the results of your labiaplasty look?
Welcome, thanks so much for sharing your experience with us. Sorry you are feeling so much discomfort in your second week, glad you reached out to your doctor, let us know how it goes. Did you have the wedge or trim method?
I actually had it done years ago, here is my review. I also had the trim method. At the time it was the only available technique. You will find the spray bottle really handy, actually, I put this together a little bit ago, even though you have already had your surgery you may still find it helpful and if you have anything to add, please do so in the comment section.
