How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

7 Years Later

Everything from my 4 year update is the same, except that now the lower lid retraction/rounding is worse. As a result, the dry eye is worse, and I can no longer wear the contact lenses that were working for me before. This sucks.

Adding one more picture

I’m adding on more picture that really shows the damage to the outside corner (lateral canthus) of my right eye as well as lower lid retraction and eyelas issues. In this picture, the canthus (outer corner) looks stretched, rounded, even a bit mangled. You can also see how my lower lid is pulled down so there’s sclera (white) showing between the lower lid and the iris (blue). Finally, you can see a gap in my lashes in the outside corner because I have to pluck a few out so they don’t grow directly into my eye.

4 years post-op pictures

Here are some pictures from four years post-op. They’re pretty similar to the last ones I posted. Fortunately, the lower lid retraction and rounding corners seems to have stabilized for now, although it could continue to progress in later years as my skin ages and loses elasticity.
