Otoplasty by Dr. Jerold Olson - Tucson, AZ

Ever since i was a little kid my ears always stuck out and bothered me constantly. I never knew Otoplasty was an option until i was older, and even then I kept putting it off for various reasons. Most people don't understand that kids are bullied mostly based on their physical appearance, and protruding ears are possibly #1 on the list. Any parent that has a child with protruding ears should highly consider Otoplasty to help avoid bullying and increase self-esteem of their child. Any adult that has protruding/asymmetrical ears should also consider the surgery because it is a facial feature that draws a lot of attention from others that cannot be covered up, and really can improve self-esteem as well as make someone more attractive.

Dr. Olson performed my Otoplasty and it really came out better than I ever imagined. The procedure itself was in his office, under local anesthesia, and both ears took less than two hours. Before the surgery, Dr. Olson explained the entire procedure and what to expect during and after the surgery. Surprisingly, there was no pain at all, and I didn't take any pain medications. During the surgery Dr. Olson showed me the progress and made sure I was happy with how my ears looked before i left. I had to sleep with a headband for a couple weeks, but it was not uncomfortable. The stitches were placed behind the ears at the crease, so they are not noticeable even if looking close up.

Dr. Olson and his staff are very professional and polite and I am 100% satisfied with this procedure. I have since gone back to Dr. Olson for other procedures that i am also extremely satisfied with. I highly recommend Dr. Olson for facial plastic surgery and he has truly made me happier and increased my self esteem by fixing my ears.
