WORTH IT
I started thinking about a Breast Augmentetion at 30 but did not think I was mature enough to move forward. I am very athletic a runner and worried larger Breasts would get in the way.

I turned 40 last year and I am in the best shape of my life quite lean and my breasts super deflated. So 6 months ago I decided it was time.

I researched a few surgeons in my city and one stood out hands down. Dr. Timothy Connall was highly recommended and I am thrilled I chose him as my surgeon.

It has been less then 2 weeks and I'm feeling better every day ????

You look fabulous!! I had mind done by Dr connall 2 weeks ago and am in love with them! What size and kind did you end up going with?

Yay! Thank you. I ended up choosing smooth round silicone , moderate plus, 375cc in left and 400cc in right. I was leaning towards teardrop shaped in the beginning but after all my research i felt more comfortable with smooth silicone.
How about you ?

You look great! I read your post because I'm in a similar situation - 42, avid runner - boobs deflated even though I'm in great shape finally.
Looking fantastic, and hang in there, you can start exercising soon!

Dr Connall did my first BA in 2002 and lipo in 2003 on me when he was still in the Air Force! I was thrilled with his work! I had this implants until 5 weeks ago when I did an exchange for more upper pole. I had a child and breast fed so I felt that were a bit saggy.

I considered flying to OR to have him do my exchange but luckily I found a doc I was comfortable with 4 hours from me.

I am also a runner. Lean and 43 years old. Was deflated and saggy. Never had kids. Just had breast lift and implants 2 weeks ago. My surgeon is against me going back to running. What did your surgeon say about you running? And how do you feel about going back to running?

My BA stats

Thought I would add info on what I ended up getting I am 5'5 and weigh 130lbs I went with smooth round silicone under muscle left 375cc and right 400cc. I wanted 400cc in both however my left breast was larger and had more tissue so I left it up to my doctor during the survey to decide witch one made my breasts look even. They nearly look exactly the same now and my nipples are even.

That's really helpful. I'm 5'6" and 134 lbs and athletic and love working out, so it's really good to read about your experiences. I have a lower back joint abnormality which means I need to do pilates and physio exercises regularly. At the last consult I showed my PS some gentle pilates abs exercises, where you lie in your back and just alternately raise and point each leg. He said that would be OK after a week, so I'm hoping I'll be able to build up gentle, low-impact work from that. I've read elsewhere that you don't want to get a raised heart rate before 2 weeks as that increases risk of haematoma.

I can't wait to exercise again in fact it have felt quite down not being able to exercise. So 10 days down and 11 to go before I can run omg I will be in heaven. I also practice bikram yoga which I can resume 4 weeks post op. I had to dream a little today so took a pic in my yoga bottoms with a sports bra I got as a freebie from my last post op visit
