Everything has been going pretty smooth! Haven't worn a bra since surgery (was just using pasties to keep the nips covered) and I finally decided to get one last weekend - mainly because it's getting cold here and they don't feel too good when they get chilly lol! Anyway, I got just a nice and comfy one, altho not the best looking, but it works. Been massaging throughout the day. My areolas and nipples are the most sensitive - I knew it was normal but I ended up shooting my surgeon an email and he went ahead and refilled my neurontin... Doesn't help a whole lot but better than nothing.
I'm slowly dropping the weight I gained post-op (10lbs)!
I also have my days of feeling like I didn't go big enough. I thought for sure going in to this that I wouldn't have any "boob greed" cuz I was very set on not wanting to go overboard and I even went bigger with the cc's than what was decided at my first consultation. Anyway, I just let it go and know that my decision was exactly what I wanted and to just let them settle into place and be happy. They feel great, look great, and am very happy with them.

Hi, I'm scheduled for my consult with Dr Gorin in April. I was searching through posts from his patients. Your breasts turned out amazing!

One week down. I can sort of tell little changes... Probably changes that I can see since I check them out like allllll the time lol! Had my first post op appt yesterday and all went well. He gave me scar gel and gave me the OK to begin massages. Next appt is in 3 weeks. Still trying to take it easy but still catch myself trying to do what I shouldn't.

Boob warmers?

I can't help but wonder if there is such a thing as a boob warmer... Everytime I get cold my entire chest area tenses up and gets hard. Not the most comfortable feeling.

Just wondering did you go for under the muscle? Having mine done soon but under the muscle, meant to be more painful, you seem to be doing ok with pain. I have a 20 month and 4 year old and have no help from day 4, will I survive?

I did go under the muscle. It's not really a matter of survival....but lifting anything over 3 lbs isn't supposed to happen for the first 3 weeks. I have a 4 yr old and I have to catch myself sometimes from picking her up. Did you discuss this with your surgeon? I'm sure the idea of not lifting awhile is not so much for pain, but so you don't mess up the investment you just made.

Hi thanks for replying, yes I mentioned I have a toddler and asked when could I pick him up, he said after a week as long as I use my knees not just my arms, I will try my best not to pick him up at all for awhile but he loves to be picked up

Oh I understand! Day of surgery, my daughter came home that evening and out of habit of picked her up. If your surgeon is OK with you picking up your children then he is who you listen to. All surgeons have different restrictions and the only one that knows you, is your surgeon. Pain-wise, picking up your littles I don't see will be an issue. You might have some areas that will remind you that you just had surgery, that's happened to me a few times, but then you just take it easy for a bit. Knowing how to listen to your body plays a big role as well.
