8 1/2 month update
So it been 8 and a half months already. And I’m super happy with my results. My scar is basically invisible. And The numbness on top of my head is gone. My hair is back to normal thickness. I only wish I had done this sooner in life. It’s so freeing not or worry about my forehead anymore. And there’s so many more hairstyles i can do now. Dr Richardson is fantastic both in skill and temperament. He’s very personable. And his staff are just as good. It’s a great place. I only wish I lived closer. But it was worth traveling for. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have if you’re considering forehead reduction.

Hi, thanks for posting your updates. They are really helpful. After how much time did the feeling in your scalp come back to normal? And when you pull all your hair back, does the hairline look natural?
Hi! It took about 5-6 months to get most feeling back. I i think my hairline looks natural when i pull it back. :)

You look great! I like that he doesn’t do a straight cut across the forehead. I need a brow lift and I’m concerned about the scar. How long before you felt the scar was unnoticeable. Is there a reason why he doesn’t hide them more behind the hair line? Did you lose any hair during the process.
Looks like you traveled for the surgery. Did you stay the first night in the hotel? If so, where did you stay and for how long?

Hi all! Well it’s been about 2 months since my surgeries. And I’d say I’m doing well. I’m still numb on the top of my head. And it’s feels tight at times. I read another persons review that described the feeling humorously perfect! “It feels like someone took a toupee and superglued it on the top of your head” but in actuality that toupee is now your scalp TRUTH. Its kinda annoying at times. But i guess that’s a price to pay... maybe the feeling will come back one day? My scalp has movement again. I remember after surgery i had no wiggle at all. Now i do.
I’m still shedding more than I’d like (tho I’ve gone through heavier shedding periods before my forehead reduction) so it’s kinda hard to solely blame it on that. It is thinner Overall. No obvious shockloss thus far which I’m grateful for. Tho overall thinning isn’t great as I already have thin hair to begin with. On another note i have lots of hairs growing through my scar and hoping it’ll grow in to fill my corners a little more eventually. I’m taking hair vitamins and a multi vitamin. Don’t know if it’s helping?
Sometimes I wish it were a little lower. Even though I think it fits my face.
I’m still happy i went through with it. And am looking forward to more healing and hair growth. I’m happy to answer any questions. I’ll keep posting updates every now and then.
I remember when i was doing my research it was SO hard to find reviews with year+ updates. So I’ll try to do yearly ones too.

Wow you look terrific! I think your forehead is in perfect proportion to your face. I have my surgery in 4 months! Doing it with a brow lift to get the height I want. Fingers crossed for you on the shedding!!
