Nonbinary Gender-Affirming Surgery: Experience was Unbelievably Perfect

My experience with Dr. Huettner and the Top Surgery Specialists of NYC team was unbelievably perfect! I had a unique situation with my insurance that required me to get the surgery before the end of the month if I wanted it to be covered. With that only being 3 weeks away, I wasn’t sure if it was possible but I reached out anyway since their website advertised being able to get on the calendar fairly quickly. They responded to my inquiry right away and I had my consult the next day, with surgery already scheduled in 2 weeks! The staff moves fast as you can see and is very friendly & responsive. Dr. Huettner really did an amazing job, especially since I am nonbinary and asked for unique results that were in-between a breast reduction and fully flat top surgery. My recovery has been surprisingly pain-free! The worst I’ve felt is soreness and discomfort, but I was off the extra-strength Tylenol by the third day. I highly recommend moving forward with this team and Dr. Huettner since I had such a flawless experience!
