Transconjunctival Bleph and Aggressive SmartSkin to Entire Face

I have two major issues that have been nagging at me since I was younger. The first is my undereye bags. My bone structure has made it so that I've always had dark circles under my eyes, and as I get older they're only getting worse. I can hide the discoloration with makeup, but not the actual puffy bags. Plus, now that I'm aging, I'm getting finer lines in the bags that my concealer settles into - not good!

My other issue, and the one that bothers me the most, is my acne scarring. I've had moderate acne most of my life, including cystic acne, and this has left me with a lot of horrible scars. 10 years ago I also had a 'freak' infection where my entire face erupted so bad that I had a fever to go along with it, and my doctor was stumped and had never seen anything like that. Needless to say, that just ruined my skin even more.

After a few courses of Accutane, the cystic acne subsided, but I still get quite a few zits around my mouth and chin when PMS hits.

Since my acne has mostly subsided, I was deemed a candidate for a very, very aggressive SmartSkin CO2 laser treatment. I also really wanted to get my eyebags taken care of, so I got a transconjunctival blepharoplasty done at the same time, both under general mask anesthesia. Dr. Azar was also able to use the laser to help tighten up my undereye area after he removed some of the fat to reduce the puffiness. Both procedures took about 1.5 hours total, and I'm currently on day 3 of the recovery process. I haven't had much pain at all, but I still have a long way to go in the recovery process. It's also impossible for me to judge the actual results, but I'm planning on posting pictures once I'm healed up.
