Starting to see some abs finally.. hello old friends!! It's been 18 yrs since I saw rose.. going to get my scar tattoo but still not sure about the belly button.. kinda like the freakish nature of not having one...

5 months!

5 months and feeling fabulous!! I am still dropping weight like crazy lately.. actually am down 100lbs from where I started not too long ago... 180.7 this morning.. I'll be in the 170's hopefully tomorrow!! Had to share a pic.. best thing I ever did and it was worth loosing the belly button for. My first pic was at 235 and today at 180!! So excited

4 months post op!

It's been a while since I have posted and I feel like it's time for that update...I am back to work full time with no discomfort and able to do so much more then when I was before my operation... I hit the tom every morning before I start work and am watching my abdomen finally patten out and fit into clothes without having to tuck that horrible flap into them... I must say hat I am still a long ways away from perfection.. bi I'm a 40 year old mother of three and honestly a pooch is much better then the pannus. This summer I finally after 17 year bought a bikini top and am comfortable in public showing off my mid section which is still without that belly button tattoo that I plan on getting once I am to my goal weight... my weight has not changed too much.. I was 195ish when I went into surgery and am now at 190, 4 of that was removed but I have stayed at 195 until recently but with daily gym work outs and all the hard work Amy job ( sheet metal worker here) I am finally seeing the scale move into the right direction ... my scar is getting better and I'm places looks lighter then others.. not too happy with the staple scars but it's better to have this scar then that flappy skin sac! All in all this has been the best choice I have ever made for myself.. hope everyone is doing well!!
