It's been a wild 10 days. I'm still waiting to feel normal. I'm happy I did it but it's a much more complex and slow recovery than I really realized. I'm 10 days out and I'm slowly getting better and stronger each day. I've always wanted to have this performed and i never thought it to be financially feasible. I truly focused on the tummy tuck and only later decided to go with a breast augmentation.

Day 12

I was hating on the binder with the foam pads until today. When I got out of surgery on the 17th, the had placed my pads sideways which I think was to help with the flank lipo. Today when the dr helped me put the binder back on, we turned it horizontally. Now it's not bulging out and making me feel squeezed awfully. Dr said I should keep it through the weekend before going to a spanx type garment. I was thinking I'd be sad but she says the binder is really helping to keep a more defined shape. I figure I'll wear the spanx to work and possibly wear the binder at night. I also walk much more upright with it one. Mh breasts also are starting to not look as huge as I thought initially which is perfect as I think they were larger from swelling and sitting high. Looking today, they seem more and more natural. I notice one is ever so slightly larger than the other but thats how my breasts have always looked. Each day I'm more and more excited about the results I'm getting.

Would you mind sharing what size implants you had put in? Also, did you do under the muscle?

Day 14

I'm feeling really good now but the newly placed skin is sensitive and I can't wait to get back to aerobics kickboxing weights and zumba. I have to give mad props to the Hanes cozy bra. It's fantastic. The bra i was given was leaving a mark. Sadly I think it was because I may be a 38 not a 36. Im including some updated photos. I'm very pleased with the flatness of my stomach and patiently waiting to see how the belly button will turn out. This is an area I didn't discuss a lot with my surgeon but based on her site photos and the progression of my healing I'm confident it will be an excellent result. I'm able to side sleep now which has seemed to decrease the pain in my neck and head when I wake up. Happy new year. I can't wait til I can begin ab workouts. I need to specifically ask Dr Shermak when I can do that because I've read some say 6 months but I believe it's ok after 6 to 8 weeks. I see her on the 19th and I'm excited to see the scar then if the tapes don't come off before then. I love the convenience of the tape on the incision. Also I'm getting antsy for a wax but hesitant to go even with a regular wax for fear of pulling on the skin. It's do embarrassing and if I shave it will make my next wax awful. :( it's so much easier to manage with simple wax rather than wax after shaving and way less pain

Wow you started sleeping on your side so early! There's hope for me!! I am such a side/stomach sleeper Lol.
I've decided I'm going to get laser hair removal after my MMO. I am so sick of shaving and not a fan of the idea of waxing. My leg hair is fairly light so that probably won't take (from my research). Mostly it's the arm pits and pubic area that I hate doing.
Hope your doing well and had a good New year!

I had my armpits waxed for $20 on xmas eve and it still hasn't grown back. I did it myself before and it comes back fast. I finally caved and shaved the public area as I really dislike hair

The side sleeping took some contortioning lol. Lots of pillows and adjusting. I also stuffed socks between my breasts as they felt heavy for a while. They are now settling and feel better each day

I was a 32dd before but after Aug, they gave me 38 surgical bra. Remember its got to be loose and supportive. They don't want to irritate or squeeze boobs into unnatural shapes. Once swelling went down I got cheap target wireless flex. It looks and feels like surgical bra but I got black. Everything is looser till swelling goes down and you are more healed. I hear no real bra shopping till around 3 months.
