My 2 week post op
I couldn't be happier with my healing progress right now! I go to my surgeons office this afternoon and get my stitches that aren't dissolvable taken out and hopefully get some cream to start rubbing on my scars if they're healed.
My surgeon doesn't let me spend any time out of my large bandaid type things that cover my wounds and apparently that helps it heal so much faster.
My bruising has faded almost completely.
I have some swelling but none really noticeable and some lumps under my incision underneath my breast. I'll get that checked out today. Hopefully it's nothing.
I have had no pain like I've said in my previous updates and I went to the gym on my 10th day post op and done some cardio.
I have been sleeping on my sides a lot.
My back is aching because of my sleeping on my sides and back ( I am a tummy sleeper ) and it's really uncomfortable.
I've stopped taking any pain medication because I really don't need it and haven't for some time now.

Only two more days before I see my surgeon again to get my stitches out! And hopefully be cleared for some light cardio like the bike machine. I have had no experience with actually pain, it is tender every now and again but it's mostly uncomfortable for me. Bruising is fading! Can't wait to stop wearing this goofy surgical bra and go bra shopping for some cute things :)
4 days post op
Minimal pain - quite a lot of discomfort. I started bruising this afternoon. I had a shower this morning and I had little to no bruising but now I am quite bruised down the middle of my chest.
The nurse comes to my house again tomorrow to change my dressing. The compression bra is so annoying right now! I have a sports bra underneath my compression bra because the compression bra is a really itchy fabric.
