Hi all! After breastfeeding 2 my kids for 3+ years...
WORTH IT$6,600
Hi all! After breastfeeding 2 my kids for 3+ years combined, my breasts have have become non-existent. I used to be a 34B, but now I think I'm a 34AA. Not sure though, because I've refused to buy any new bras due to my denial that I am boob-less now! Anyways, I had my pre-op appt. with Dr. Newman last Tuesday. Going in, I had my mind set on silicone implants. However, he introduced me to the new implants, the Ideal Implants. It has a similar feel as a silicone implant, but filled with saline water. That way, if it ruptures, you could tell right away. No need for a MRI. I guess the office just got them in, and Dr. Newman still has yet to use them on a patient. After a couple days of researching, I've decided to go with the Ideal Implants. I'm scared that it's still "new" out there, and there isn't as much research on the implants as there are with your standard silicone or saline implants. I'm getting the 405cc, I'm which it could be filled up to 455cc. Dr.Newman will decide during surgery what size suits best for my body. Has anyone else had Ideal Implants?

I just got mine done Nov 4th in Vancouver BC. My surgeon Dr. Gelfant had only done one set the week before mine. I had a lift and implant so am a bit lopsided at the moment, but he is happy with the result and say I will even out once they drop. I did 400cc in both and was a 34 b I think prior to surgery.

I can't wait until mine drop! Im happy so far with my results though. Glad too see someone else that got Ideal implants on here! There aren't too many of us yet. :)

This is pretty much my pre op pic. I’m thinking 405 filled to 420 too! But now I’m worried and considering 370 filled to 390 maybe? I just don’t want it to be too big for my body...

12 Days Post Op
Its been 12 days since I've gotten my Ideal implants, and so far so good! My surgeon put 405ccs in and filled both sides up to 420cc. The surgery went well, and the recovery hasn't been too bad. Most of the swelling and tightness has gone away now, and I have minimal pain. The only time I have pain is at nighttime- the incisions hurt a little at times. When my boobs were swollen, I was afraid that I had gotten too big of implants, but now that they've settled, I think that they're perfect! Overall, I'm happy so far with the results.

Gad to hear your surgery went well! Are there different types of profiles for Ideal
Implants? What is your Bwd?
Implants? What is your Bwd?

There's only one profile for the ideal implants, and it's like a moderate plus profile in other brands. I don't recall what my BWD is, but I think it's 12cm? Not sure.

I'm glad to hear you love your results! I will be getting the ideal implants this Friday and am both nervous and excited! I too had chosen silicon at first and decided to go with the idea implant since its safer and love the way it feels.

I hope your surgery went well! I'm so happy I went with the ideal implants. I just posted a 5 week post op update if you want to check it out. I hope you're healing well!

The results look great! It looks like you are healing very well -- I am also considering the ideal implants but very nervous about the procedure. Can you tell me which incision you went with, and how the scar is healing? Also, what did you do to prepare for the healing process after surgery? Would be great to see the results of ideal implants 1 month post surgery if you have time for it, since there are so few photos of ideal implants out there. Thank you!

My incision is under the boob. The scar is still dark, but thankfully it's only 1 inch long. The healing process wasn't bad at all... I just had some pain for a few days, and then I was fine without my pain meds after that. I just posted a 5 week post op update if you want to check it out!

What size are you now? How do they feel? I have silicone implants for 30 years now and am getting a Breast Revision. Gonna get Silicone like before since I did not have any problems until now. I'm seeing postings about the Idea Implants and would like to know how they feel and look.
I had to laugh when you said, right after surgery you looked at your new blobs and thought they were too big. I did the same thing!!! I had told my Dr "NOTHING OVER A "C" cup. I looked like a double D ! Talk about panic !!! So glad to know they were just swollen. I was a size 34B I wanted my boobs to match my body frame. He did a Very good job, he is retired now, so looking at Drs on here to start Consulting. So any more info about the Ideal implants will be appreciated !!!! Thank You in advance here. You had them almost 2 months now......how's it going ?? :)

I think I was a 34AA before, and I just got sized as a 34DD! Of course it's only been 2 months, so they still need to drop more and settle... They don't seem that huge, and I love them! I will post photos again soon!

Hey, I have the ideal implants and have posted daily. Go take a look and so far I love them! Recovery was a week and now at week 3 they have dropped and and soften. If you have any additional questions comment on my page :)
How exciting...you're almost there! Here is a helpful list of recovery supplies you may want to have on hand. Will you have any help with the kiddos the first few days post op? We have put your review into the Ideal Implant Community so hopefully you should be able to find a few other members like yourself. The implant really does sound nice...no MRIs...that's a huge bonus right there. Good luck and update us before your surgery!
