Have met with my surgeon 3 times now and have decided to go ahead with a tummy tuck, breast lift and augmentation. my surgeon has been very open to questions and I'm excited about going through with the procedure. I cant comment on my experience yet because I'm still waiting to have the procedure done.

My surgery is for Feb 7th with Dr Ryan Neinstein. I am a 44 year old mother of 3 and after 120 lb weight loss I'm ready to really fix up my body. What's your story? Looks like we're going to be going through this at the same time.

7 Weeks Post Tummy Tuck, Breast lift & Augmentation

This is my fist post since I had my surgery on Feb 7th. Time has gone quickly and the healing is coming along quite nicely. I have had no real complications other than a small irritation along one of the scars which my surgeon responded to immediately so it never developed into anything of concern. The first few weeks post op were pretty rough. Couldn't get comfortable and had to sleep on my recliner in the living room. Slept there for about 3 weeks and then was able to lie on my back in my bed. Just started being able to sleep on my side last week. What a relief! I am still having a fair bit of swelling and I'm hoping that is going to get less frequent very soon. It's worse at the end of the day especially if I've been on my feet for a long time. Still most comfortable in the compression garments. The scars under my breast are starting to loosen up a bit and I've just started wearing a regular bra instead of a sports bra. My breasts look amazing!
All of my incisions have healed incredibly well which I believe is due to me following my surgeon's pre & post op nutritional regime. He was very adamant about getting enough protein and taking specific vitamins 3 weeks before and 3 weeks after.
I'm anxious for a little more time to pass and hopefully get back to feeling more normal. Still not fitting into the pants I wore pre-op but I think that's due to the swelling. I am happy that I can wear fitted shirts now and I look flat in the tummy. I would never wear anything like that before.
