7 Weeks Post Tummy Tuck, Breast lift & Augmentation

$10,000
This is my fist post since I had my surgery on Feb 7th. Time has gone quickly and the healing is coming along quite nicely. I have had no real complications other than a small irritation along one of the scars which my surgeon responded to immediately so it never developed into anything of concern. The first few weeks post op were pretty rough. Couldn't get comfortable and had to sleep on my recliner in the living room. Slept there for about 3 weeks and then was able to lie on my back in my bed. Just started being able to sleep on my side last week. What a relief! I am still having a fair bit of swelling and I'm hoping that is going to get less frequent very soon. It's worse at the end of the day especially if I've been on my feet for a long time. Still most comfortable in the compression garments. The scars under my breast are starting to loosen up a bit and I've just started wearing a regular bra instead of a sports bra. My breasts look amazing!
All of my incisions have healed incredibly well which I believe is due to me following my surgeon's pre & post op nutritional regime. He was very adamant about getting enough protein and taking specific vitamins 3 weeks before and 3 weeks after.
I'm anxious for a little more time to pass and hopefully get back to feeling more normal. Still not fitting into the pants I wore pre-op but I think that's due to the swelling. I am happy that I can wear fitted shirts now and I look flat in the tummy. I would never wear anything like that before.

I met with Dr. Neinstein in his office after seeing 2 other surgeons previously. I had a pretty good idea of what questions I wanted answered and immediately felt comfortable asking them. Dr. Neinstein was excellent at realistically letting me know what outcome to expect from the procedures I wanted to have done. He spent time with my husband and I and we never felt rushed. He brought up things that we hadn't necessarily thought of and put us at ease. I liked his approach but after the initial visit I still needed time to consider if I really wanted to go through with the procedures. He never tried to push me into making a decision and I booked another consult with him for 3 weeks later. At this visit I decided I definitely wanted to have the surgery and Dr. Neinstein was the guy I wanted to have do it. My surgery was booked for Feb 7th and I had another visit with Dr. Neinstein to go over the nutritional requirements in the weeks before and after surgery. He was very passionate about the importance of protein and nutrients in the healing process. I believe this is why I never had any issues with my incisions. During the weeks leading up to the surgery, Dr. Neinstein called to check in with me and took calls with any questions I had. He made me feel like I was the most important patient he had. After the surgery he was there when I woke in recovery. He kept my husband informed of my progress and came to the clinic the next morning to discharge me. Later in the day after I'd been home for a few hours, Dr. Neinstein called just to see how I was doing. He made calls the next few days and then I saw him in his office. The follow up care has been phenomenal. He really cares that his patients get through the surgery and recovery without incident. I would highly recommend Dr. Neinstein to anyone looking to have plastic surgery. In fact I will be going back to have my arms and legs done without hesitation. He truly is knowledgeable and extremely caring.

My surgery is for Feb 7th with Dr Ryan Neinstein. I am a 44 year old mother of 3 and after 120 lb weight loss I'm ready to really fix up my body. What's your story? Looks like we're going to be going through this at the same time.
