Provider Review
My experience with Dr. Rahal was first-rate. He performed a 2500 graft FUT hair transplant on me, two weeks ago. Despite living a fair distance from Dr. Rahal's clinic, I chose Dr. Rahal to perform my hair transplant because he is legitimately known to be among the world's best hair transplant physicians. He is extremely popular on hair transplant forums, and is consistently recommended by other hair transplant recipients. I could have easily went to a local doctor for my hair transplant (they're everywhere), but I chose to go to one of the world's best in design and results. My issue was my hairline, and I wanted a great result (not something that I had to worry about hiding - that's the problem I'm trying to address with this procedure!). Dr. Rahal's staff is hard working, and I never felt like they were slacking (something I worry about - since graft survival is dependent on how long the grafts spend outside the body). If I can only stress one thing about my experience with this procedure, it would be this: Dr. Rahal is involved in every step of the procedure. He takes great care in designing the hairline and attempting to reach a density and design that will actually cover the area (so many doctors' work is of a poor density in this industry); he makes all the incisions himself (you're choosing Dr. Rahal for his artistry - this is what I wanted!); and he plants the grafts alongside his technicians. I have no complaints about the procedure, or work ethic of Dr. Rahal and his staff. I elected to stay at Dr. Rahal's guesthouse (a building directly behind his main clinic) and I cannot recommend this more. It is such a relief to be able to stay out of the public eye during the first few days of recovery. I'd recommend staying here for a couple days to 2 weeks, work schedule permitting. It is worth the investment to spend your time on post-op care, and if you're traveling from outside the country like me, why not be more cautious to promote graft survival? For me, this was a great decision, and I am grateful for the recovery time. All in all, I do not think you can go wrong with Dr. Rahal. His reputation precedes him, and it is easy to see why. I can see the design of my hairline - at only 2 weeks post-op, I'm still waiting for it to grow in over the next couple months - and I cannot even describe how great it feels to see hair where I feared it would never grow again. It feels like having your youth given back to you. I highly recommend Dr. Rahal. He does great work.
